Bags for this year's "Summer of Hope" food drive, as well as a list of accepted items, are now available in the Narthex (back foyer area) of the church. This is a great opportunity to help feed children in our wider community during their summer recess. If you fill a bag and return it on June 10 from 4:30-6:30, Cindy's Diner will offer you a free meal!

Thank you to New Day Planning - Thrivent for organizing this event and helping to feed kids in RI!

PS - If you can't get your bag from us, there is usually a supply at Cindy's, at New Day Planning's offices (right next to Scituate Liquor) and other participating businesses in the village.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there. It occurred to us that our entire worship service team was female today. Canon Dena, 3 Acolytes (Addison, Raegan, Callie), Jill as Lay Eucharistic Minister, Deb on the organ, and all three readers! We live in a time where some question women’s roles in the church, but here in the Episcopal church, it’s a normal and great thing.
