Getting ready to board our first flight to head home. It’s been a great trip, but it’s always nice to come home.

We had another great day of food distribution this morning. Then, this afternoon, we took the remaining soccer balls and bibles to a local park to give away. We spent about 3 hours playing with kids, talking with locals, sharing scripture, showing the kids how to use the mission balls to talk with their friends about Jesus, and having gospel conversations. Tomorrow is a recreation day before we fly home on Thursday.

Late night post… today was a busy day. We split into 2 teams. Josh, Cory l, and Charles stayed at the church to put 2 new coats of paint on the walls of the entire sanctuary as well as a bit of trim work outside. The rest of us delivered 23 bags of food, lots of Bibles, and soccer balls with scripture on them to families out in the community. We spent time chatting with them, sharing the gospel, and praying with them. Then after dinner, we had an hour with some men from the church and community. Teatimonies we’re shared and itbwas encouraging all around. Tomorrow will be very similar, but for now we are headed to bed.

Today after service and lunch, we’ve spent some time assembling food bags to distribute tomorrow, then sat and chatted with Pastor Fidel, and now we are filling up the 80 soccer balls to take to the park throughout the week. It’s been a beautiful day.
