Sometimes the answer you've been praying for is sitting at the same table as you.

Pastor Dana Everage spent two and a half months in constant eye pain. He'd already seen two doctors and gotten nowhere. Then he was at an event in Arizona, still hurting, still putting drops in, and someone at his table noticed and gave him the name of a doctor.

He called that Monday morning. They saw him the same day and started treatment right there.

Here's what he said about it: if he had stayed in his room by himself, he'd still be suffering.

That's what corresponding action looks like. Sometimes faith means getting connected to the right people and being willing to let them see what you're carrying.

You can say you have faith. But what are you actually doing about it?

James 2 asks it plainly: what good is it if you say you have faith but don't show it by your actions? Pastor Dana Everage taught this week that faith isn't only something you believe. It's something you move on.

And most of us aren't stuck because we don't know what to do. We're stuck in the gap between knowing and doing.

God told you to start that business. God told you to write that book. God told you to make that call. And it's still sitting there in the back of your mind because you haven't moved yet.

Faith by itself isn't enough. Get up and go do the thing.

Pastor Dana Everage once sat down with a friend who was driving all over Los Angeles looking for a house. He was stressed out, frustrated, and claiming houses that weren't even for sale.

So Pastor told him to stop praying for a house and start praying for God's best.

His friend got a realtor, stopped chasing, and trusted God with the rest. Two months later he found his home, and it was exactly what his family needed.
