All this month, we will be partnering with Churches in Action by collecting new undergarments for people in need ages 2 and up. Please drop off your donation of NEW underwear, socks, thermal underwear, and bras in the bin located in the lobby. There will also be a cash box for monetary donations if you prefer. Thank you for helping some of the most vulnerable in our society with this basic need!

Last week, Pastor Cable Carr taught us where the Sabbath came from and why it’s important for our lives; but how do we actually Sabbath? What does a “Sabbath-rest for the people of God” mean practically?

Join us for a conversation with Pastor Hallie around the practice of Sabbathing as we become people of rest and prepare to welcome Pastor Jordan back next weekend. Our services are at 10am and 6pm on Sunday. See you then!

In recent years, the fourth commandment has become a huge topic of discussion in the Church: "Remember the Sabbath Day by keeping it holy”. It’s clear that God finds Sabbath important, but what does that mean in our modern context? Why does God command rest rather than suggest it? And how do we rest in a world that is ever-changing and increasingly busy?

Sunday, we will hear from guest speaker, Pastor Caleb “Cable” Carr. Cable is currently the multi-site youth ministry director at Revive Wesleyan, as well as the youth pastor at the McKinley Campus. He and his wife, Allison, are in the process of planting another Revive campus in South Buffalo with their two sons.
