🌎 LA MISSIONS TRIP UPDATE! đŸ™Œâ€ïž

The Gospel isn’t just something we preach. It’s something we LIVE!

Our Thrive Church missions team has been busy serving throughout Los Angeles, and we’re celebrating the opportunities God continues to provide to demonstrate the love of Jesus!

đŸœïž SERVING ON SKID ROW

Our team partnered with Union Rescue Mission in the heart of Skid Row, where they helped serve approximately 300 meals to people experiencing homelessness.

Behind every meal is a person with a name, a story, and a life that matters to God. Sometimes something as simple as serving a meal can remind someone that they are seen, valued, and loved! ❀

🔹 SUPPORTING LOCAL KINGDOM WORK

That evening, our team rolled up their sleeves and helped renovate a bathroom at a locally owned Christian coffee shop.

This business is committed to sharing the love of Christ in a community where Christianity often faces opposition. By helping with practical needs, our team was able to encourage and support believers who are faithfully being a light in their community!

đŸ„Ź PROVIDING GROCERIES & PRAYER

Today, our team partnered with the LA Dream Center to provide groceries and prayer for inner-city families facing difficult circumstances.

We believe meeting physical needs creates opportunities to demonstrate God’s love and minister to spiritual needs. Every grocery bag distributed and every prayer offered is another opportunity to remind families that God sees them, loves them, and hasn’t forgotten them! 🙏

đŸ”„ THIS IS WHAT BEING THE CHURCH LOOKS LIKE!

Sometimes ministry looks like serving 300 meals. Sometimes it looks like renovating a bathroom. And sometimes it looks like handing a family groceries and praying with them.

Different opportunities. Different needs. The same mission: showing people the love of Jesus!

At Thrive Church, we believe the mission of Jesus extends far beyond our church buildings and even beyond our own city!

🙏 Continue praying for our missions team, the people they’re serving, and the ministries making a lasting impact throughout Los Angeles.

We don’t just GO to church. We ARE the Church! â›Ș❀

Hell isn’t intimidated by your attendance. It’s intimidated by your authority. đŸ”„

As a follower of Jesus, you’re a citizen of heaven—and you carry the authority of the King of kings.

Let that truth shape how you live this week. Pray boldly. Stand firm when temptation comes. Remember whose you are and the authority Christ has given you.

There is more for you than simply showing up.

đŸ”„ WHEN ALL OF HELL KNOWS YOUR NAME! đŸ”„

It’s Wednesday, but we’re still thinking about Sunday’s powerful message at Thrive Church!

We unpacked Acts 19:13–16 and discovered a challenging truth about spiritual authority and what it means to live a life that makes an impact for God’s Kingdom!

đŸ’„ HERE’S THE BIG IDEA:

HELL IS NOT INTIMIDATED BY YOUR ATTENDANCE—IT IS INTIMIDATED BY YOUR AUTHORITY!

In Acts 19, the seven sons of Sceva attempted to cast out an evil spirit using the name of Jesus.

But the evil spirit responded with something that should challenge every Christian:

📖 “I know Jesus, and I know Paul, but who are you?” — Acts 19:15

THINK ABOUT THAT! đŸ”„

The demonic realm knew Paul’s name! WHY?

Because Paul wasn’t just talking about Jesus. He was demonstrating the power and authority of Jesus!

đŸ”„ Paul was shaking up Ephesus with the Gospel!

đŸ”„ Lives were being transformed!

đŸ”„ The power of God was being demonstrated!

đŸ”„ The kingdom of darkness was being confronted!

Paul wasn’t known in hell because he attended church. He was known because he was advancing God’s Kingdom!

And here’s what we need to understand:

EVERY FOLLOWER OF JESUS HAS BEEN GIVEN POWER AND AUTHORITY FROM CHRIST!

Church, we weren’t called to simply occupy a seat on Sunday mornings!

We were called to walk in obedience, share the Gospel, push back darkness, and make an eternal difference!

Our authority doesn’t come from WHO WE ARE. It comes from WHOSE WE ARE! 🙌

đŸ’„ HERE’S YOUR MIDWEEK CHALLENGE:

Don’t settle for being a Christian who simply attends church.

Be a follower of Jesus who advances His Kingdom and makes an eternal impact!

Because it’s not about how well-known you are in this world. It’s about whether your life is making a difference for eternity!

đŸ”„ SO HERE’S THE QUESTION

ARE YOU MAKING SUCH A DIFFERENCE THAT EVEN DEMONS KNOW WHO YOU ARE?

🌎 LA MISSION TRIP UPDATE | LOVE IN ACTION! â€ïžđŸ™Œ

Yesterday, our Thrive Church missions team had another incredible opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus in Los Angeles!

📍 MacArthur Park | Los Angeles, CA

MacArthur Park is located in one of LA’s most densely populated communities, where homelessness, poverty, and addiction have created significant challenges for many people.

But in the middle of those challenges, God is at work! 🙌

Today, our team had the privilege of serving alongside Peter, a faithful servant of Jesus who ministers at MacArthur Park SIX DAYS A WEEK! He consistently shows up to share the Gospel, feed those experiencing homelessness, and remind people that they are seen, valued, and loved.

What an incredible example of faithfulness!

❀ Together, our team helped provide meals and care packages to nearly 50 PEOPLE!

But this mission is about so much more than handing out food.

It’s about sharing the hope of Jesus with people who may feel forgotten. It’s about showing compassion, meeting practical needs, and reminding people that their circumstances do not determine their worth.

Because every person matters to God, every person should matter to us! ✝

We’re incredibly grateful for people like Peter who aren’t just showing up for a mission trip but are faithfully serving their communities week after week.

And we’re thankful for our Thrive missions team, who continues to demonstrate that the Church was never meant to exist within four walls!

🙏 THRIVE FAMILY, KEEP PRAYING!

Pray for our team, for Peter and his ongoing ministry, and especially for the people they are reaching. Pray that hearts will be opened, lives will be transformed, and people will experience the life-changing love of Jesus!

The mission doesn’t stop at our church doors. The mission is wherever God sends us! đŸŒŽđŸ”„

đŸ”„ YOU DON’T WANT TO MISS THRIVE CHURCH TODAY! đŸ”„

What if your faith was so real, your relationship with Jesus was so strong, and your life was so transformed that even hell knew your name?

This Sunday, we’re diving into a powerful passage of Scripture that reminds us there’s a BIG difference between knowing about Jesus and actually KNOWING Jesus! 🙌

The enemy isn’t intimidated by religious activity, empty words, or simply going through the motions. But there’s something powerful about a life completely surrendered to Jesus Christ!

đŸ”„ NEW MESSAGE: WHEN ALL OF HELL KNOWS YOUR NAME
📖 Acts 19:13–16 | The Seven Sons of Sceva

God hasn’t called you to live a powerless, defeated Christian life. He’s called you to walk in faith, live with purpose, and experience the transforming power of Jesus!

🌎 THRIVE MISSIONS UPDATE | LOS ANGELES 🙌

The mission of Jesus doesn’t stop at the walls of our church! ❀

Today, our Thrive Church Missions Team had the incredible opportunity to partner with the LA Dream Center to serve people experiencing homelessness in MacArthur Park in Los Angeles.

Our team spent time walking through the community, meeting people right where they are, sharing snacks, offering encouragement, and most importantly, sharing the hope and love of Jesus! 🙏

We also had the opportunity to connect people with resources and support available through the LA Dream Center.

Because missions isn’t just about traveling somewhere. It’s about taking the love of Jesus to people who need to know they are seen, valued, and loved by God. ❀

Every conversation matters. Every act of kindness matters. Every opportunity to share the Gospel matters.

At Thrive Church, we believe that the Kingdom of God is bigger than our building, our city, and our church! We’re called to make a difference wherever God opens a door.

🙏 Continue praying for our missions team as they serve throughout Los Angeles this week. Pray for divine appointments, open hearts, and lives to be transformed by the power of Jesus!

We don’t just GO to church. We ARE the church! đŸ”„

🌊🎉 24 PEOPLE. 24 STORIES. 24 LIVES BEING TRANSFORMED BY JESUS! đŸ™ŒđŸ”„

Last Sunday was absolutely INCREDIBLE at Thrive Church!

24 PEOPLE took their next step of faith by going PUBLIC with their faith in Jesus through water baptism! 🌊👏

But here’s what we want you to remember

These aren’t just numbers. THESE ARE PEOPLE! ❀

Every baptism represents a story. A life being changed. A person publicly declaring that Jesus is their Lord and Savior!

And behind many of those stories are prayers, conversations, invitations, and people who refused to give up on someone they loved. 🙏

GOD IS STILL CHANGING LIVES!

GOD IS STILL ANSWERING PRAYERS!

GOD IS STILL BUILDING HIS CHURCH! đŸ”„

And we believe He’s just getting started!

Church, let’s never become so familiar with what God is doing that we forget to CELEBRATE it! Heaven rejoices when lives are changed, and so should we! 🙌

❀ To every person who was baptized last Sunday, WE ARE CELEBRATING YOU! Your story matters, and we can’t wait to see what God continues to do in your life!

AND TOMORROW IS ANOTHER OPPORTUNITY! 🙌

Another opportunity to worship together, grow in our faith, invite someone who needs hope, and experience what God is doing at Thrive Church!

You never know what one invitation could mean for someone’s eternity.

SO WHO ARE YOU BRINGING TO CHURCH TOMORROW? 👀👇

🙌 HAPPY FRIDAY! 🙌

KEEP BELIEVING. 🙏
KEEP PRAYING. ❀
KEEP TRUSTING. ✝

Just because you can’t see God moving doesn’t mean He’s not working!

Whatever you’re facing today, whatever you’re believing God for, and whatever prayers you’ve been praying, don’t give up!

God is still working. He’s still moving. He’s still opening doors, changing hearts, restoring lives, and making a way where there seems to be no way!

Sometimes we get so focused on what we can SEE that we forget WHO we can TRUST.

📖 Matthew 6:33 reminds us to seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness.

So today

🙏 Keep seeking God, even when you don’t have the answers.

🙏 Keep praying, even when you haven’t seen the breakthrough.

🙏 Keep believing, even when your circumstances haven’t changed.

🙏 Keep trusting, even when God’s timing doesn’t match yours.

Your circumstances may not have changed, but God’s faithfulness hasn’t changed either!

Don’t let what you see cause you to lose faith in the One you can’t see.

God hears your prayers. He knows your needs. And you can trust Him to move according to His perfect wisdom and timing.

Happy Friday! Keep the faith. God’s not finished working! đŸ™ŒđŸ”„
