It’s easy to sit in a row and be a spectator. But church was never meant to be something we simply watch, it’s something we participate in.

When we engage in God moments together, God can turn those moments into a God movement.

So this week, take the next step:

For Breanna and Charles, serving on the First Impressions Team has been more than just greeting people at the door—it’s been an opportunity to create a welcoming environment, serve behind the scenes, and help people feel at home from the moment they arrive.

From parking and Kids Check-In to ushering, greeting, and everything in between, First Impressions is all about one thing: helping people take their next step toward Jesus. 🙌

And there’s a place for YOU too!

You don’t have to have a microphone or a stage to make an impact. Sometimes it starts with a smile, a helping hand, or simply being willing to say, “Welcome to Thrive!”

Sometimes we don’t stop long enough to realize just how good God has been. ❤️

So let’s take a second today to remember what He’s done.

Finish this sentence:

“God has been so good to me because…”

Maybe He carried you through a hard season.
Maybe He gave you a second chance.
Maybe He provided when you didn’t know how things would work out.
Maybe He put the right people in your life at exactly the right time.

THIS IS THRIVE. 🌎

Week 1 reminded us that being part of Thrive means more than showing up on Sunday, it means getting involved in the mission of the Great Commission.

Pastor Mark challenged us with a simple question: What kind of witness are we?

God isn’t looking for perfect people. He’s looking for obedient people who are willing to step into what He’s called them to do.

And there are two ways we can start today: serve at Thrive and spread the Gospel globally by partnering with Mark Thomas Ministries.

You can take your next step by serving with a Thrive team or joining us in reaching people around the world through Mark Thomas Ministries.

The mission is bigger than us and there’s a place for every one of us in it.

14 years ago, we launched our Chesterfield Campus.
