Best friends forever — literally!

This weekend, preschoolers heard how David and Jonathan loved and cared for each other through thick and thin. They learned the Big Idea: God gives me friends who love.

What’s one way you can show love to a friend?

Our pr***ens celebrated the end of the school year with an ice cream party - complete with an ice cream eating contest!

God is doing amazing things in our pr***ens, and we are so excited to see how each pr***en will continue to grow in their knowledge of, but more importantly, in their relationship with Jesus!

Need a helping hand?

This weekend, preschoolers heard how God gave Moses a special helper — his brother Aaron! They learned that God gives me friends who help.

Grab a toy or puzzle and work together to finish it. Ask: Who helps you when you need it?

The Bible has hundreds of stories, but all of those stories combine to tell one BIG story. This week, elementary students played a totally bonkers review game that helped them remember God's BIG story of love for the world and celebrate that they get to be a part of it.

Continue the conversation at home as you share everyone's favorite Bible story this week!

How can trusting God change the way you see your own problems?

🔅 As your child starts their day, remind them that God is always with them and will help them be brave and strong!!
🚗 While on the go, ask your child: "Name three not-so-good things that have happened in the past month. Then name three good things that have happened in the past month.”
🍽 At a meal this week, have everyone answer this question: "How do you keep trusting God when bad things happen?"
🛏 At bedtime, pray for each other: "God, thank You that You are always with us. Help us to remember to keep going when hard things happen because you will never leave us."

🎬 Quiet on the set — it's movie-making time! 🎬

This week, preschool children learned about how a prison guard came to know and love Jesus through a powerful earthquake, Paul and Silas' worship, and prayers in jail.

What an amazing month it has been with our preschoolers creating movie magic while learning more about Jesus!

How has Jesus changed your life?

This week, pr***ens learned about Saul's experience with God in Acts 9:1-31, and how God completely changed his life - and his name to Paul! Read the story again together this week, and continue the conversation at home with the prompts below.

🔅 As your child starts their day, tell them how you are proud of how they have grown. Tell them a specific example of something you have seen!
🚗 While on the go, ask your child: "What are some things or people that you have seen change?"
🍽 At a meal this week, have everyone answer this question: "When have you discovered something new about God?"
🛏 At bedtime, pray for each other: "Jesus, help us to see our world, ourselves, and others the way You see us."
