We officially broke ground this week on our first home for youth in foster care!

Canton For All People, Build Ohio and Chasing Hope House are partnering to build three homes that will house 12 teenage girls and have four bedrooms in each house.

Canton For All People received a $1.5 million grant from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh, which funneled through PNC Bank, to build these homes for our partner Chasing Hope House.

Thank you to Enrichment for gifting us the land to build on.

This type of housing model for youth in foster care is the first in Ohio. Building these homes will help provide stability and opportunity for young adults transitioning from foster care.

Between 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. today, you'll have the opportunity to sign up for Thanksgiving Baskets. Pick up date is Saturday, November 21st at the Canton Cultural Civic Center from 10 a.m. 1 p.m.

Canton For All People kicked off its Heat-and-Eat Program today with partners United Way of Greater Stark County and Summit Elementary School where 200 nutritious meals are sent home with students each Friday. Thank you to our volunteers who helped package the food for each household!
