As we gather this Memorial Day, Grace United Methodist Church pauses to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their courage, sacrifice, and unwavering love for others will never be forgotten.

We give thanks for the freedoms we enjoy today and pray for comfort for the families who carry the memory of their loved ones each day. May we live with gratitude, compassion, and a renewed commitment to peace.

“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” — John 15:13

Wishing our church family and community a meaningful and blessed Memorial Day.

This week’s message from 1 Peter reminded us that even in trials and hardships, God has not abandoned us. Peter calls us to remain humble, stand firm in our faith, and cast all our anxieties on the Lord because He cares deeply for us.

No matter what challenges we face, we never walk alone. God strengthens, restores, and sustains His people through every season. 🙏

This week’s message from John 15 reminded us of Jesus’ command to “love one another” with a sacrificial and faithful love. On Mother’s Day, we reflected on how God’s love is often shown through the care, strength, and compassion of those who nurture others. Whether the day brought joy, gratitude, grief, or remembrance, we are reminded that Christ’s love remains constant and complete. 💜

The Grace Missions and Outreach team was hard at work this morning packing lunches for our Lunch on Jesus program. Sermon Recap: Now Wait a Mintue 🍞

This week, we heard Jesus say: “I am the bread of life.” The crowd was looking for more physical bread, but Jesus offered something greater: Himself.

As we come to the Lord’s Table, we’re reminded that to truly receive, we must come with open hands. That means letting go of whatever we’re holding onto; anger, guilt, shame, or unforgiveness.

✨ The invitation is simple: Come to the table, but first, let go.

When we release what weighs us down, we make room to receive the fullness of Christ’s grace.

Reflection: What do you need to let go of today?

The early church in Acts 2:42–47 shows us what real faith looks like—people devoted to God, connected in community, and caring for one another.

Even though our world looks very different today, our calling is the same: love others, stay rooted in God’s Word, pray often, and live generously.

In a world full of noise and uncertainty, we are reminded that we are set apart—but never alone. We are part of God’s people, called to reflect His love every day.

✨ Let’s live with that same devotion and joy so others can see Christ through us.

This week’s message from John 10 reminds us that Jesus is our Good Shepherd—He knows us, calls us by name, and leads us with love.

In a world full of competing voices, we are invited to listen closely for His voice—the one that brings truth, peace, and life. The closer we draw to Him through prayer, Scripture, and service, the more clearly we can hear and follow.

Jesus promises that nothing can sn**ch us from His hand. We belong to Him.

So this week, may we tune out the noise, draw closer to Christ, and follow the voice of the One who loves us most. 🐑✝️
