THANK YOU, CALVARY! 🎉👶

A massive shout-out to everyone who supported this year’s Walk for Life! Because of your incredible generosity, Calvary had 7 dedicated walkers participate and raised an amazing $6,320.06 for the Crisis Pregnancy Center (CPC)!

Every dollar raised directly helps CPC provide vital guidance, medical care, and support to local moms and dads, empowering them to choose LIFE with confidence. We are so blessed to be a part of this life-changing mission. Thank you for walking, giving, and praying! 💙✨

What does it truly mean to be family? 🤔

Join us this week as Pastor Mark Bender shares a powerful message titled "The Family of God"!1

Drawing from the challenging words of Jesus in Luke 8:19-21, this sermon explores vital questions for every believer:

How do we give priority to God's family?
How do we live in the family of God?

Come discover how Jesus redefines kinship and invites us into His eternal family. We can't wait to see you!

🏕️ Building God’s House 🏕️

Our Sunday School children had a wonderful time learning from Exodus 35-36, where God instructed His people to build the Tabernacle—a special place where He would dwell among them.

The lesson focused on how the Israelites generously gave their gold, silver, acacia wood, fabrics, and other materials to support God’s work. They also shared their talents, time, and treasures to create a beautiful house of worship for the Lord. What a powerful reminder that God can use the gifts He has given each of us to serve His kingdom!

Everyone who was willing and whose heart moved them came and brought an offering to the Lord…” — Exodus 35:21 ❤️⛺️✨

🌱 Is your soul longing for a breakthrough? 🌱

Whether you missed last Sunday or would just like to take a deeper dive into Luke 8:4-15, please listen to Pastor Paul's powerful sermon: "The Seed is God’s Word."

If you’ve ever felt like you’re just going through the motions, or that your spiritual life feels a bit dry, this message is for you. We’ll be exploring the profound truth of the Parable of the Sower and how God transforms our hearts.

Here is a glimpse of what we’ll be unpacking:

God Spoke and Life Flourished – From the very beginning, God’s voice has brought order, beauty, and life out of nothing. When He speaks into our lives, true transformation begins.

Man’s Soul is Dormant Apart from God – Without the life-giving presence of the Creator, our souls remain like winter ground—waiting, longing, but unable to produce fruit on their own.

The Seed is the Word of God – The ultimate catalyst for change isn't our own self-help effort; it is the living, breathing Word of God planted deep within us.

God Prepares the Soil – He doesn't just throw the seed; He lovingly works the soil of our hearts, softening the hard places so we can truly receive His truth.

Salvation is in Christ Alone – True life, rescue, and eternal fruitfulness cannot be found anywhere else. It is found only in Jesus.

Serving Together as One Body
✝️👧👦

It wasn’t planned, but look how we showed up today! Total unintended twinning moment in the Children’s Ministry! 👯‍♀️ This sweet surprise was a beautiful, visible reminder of unity in the Body of Christ.

“How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!” - Psalm 133:1

While three people from our team of medical care providers in the DRC were evacuated, hundreds of their Congolese colleagues remain in the fray. Please continue to pray for Peter to be healed, for Rebekah and their kids, and for Patrick to remain well. But along with those three prayer requests, please also pray for these three: Nurse Tony, Laboratory manager Placida, and Kitenge Richard (the doctor who is heading the response). Please join us in praying for the Spirit to pour out endurance and love in excess in the DRC.

✨ NEW SERMON AVAILABLE ✨

Missed church this weekend or want to dive deeper into the Word? You can now listen to the powerful message from Sunday, May 17!

Join Pastor Mark as he walks us through Luke 8:1-3 in his sermon, "The Women Followers of Jesus." Together, we explore the vital role these incredible women played in Jesus’ ministry and what their lives teach us today.

Pastor Mark breaks down three powerful truths about these followers:

They were REDEEMED women – Changed forever by the grace and healing of Jesus.

They were VALUED women – Seen, loved, and given a purposeful place in God’s kingdom.

They were LOYAL women – Standing faithfully by Jesus and supporting His mission.

Their story is a beautiful reminder that Jesus values, transforms, and uses every one of us for His glory.
