Praising the Lord for the life and ministry of Janet Keim. Praying for her family and friends who are mourning her.
Toby here…
It’s with a mix of deep sadness and triumphant hope in the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ that I share with you the passing of CPC's founder, Janet Keim. She entered the presence of her blessed Redeemer late last night with her two cherished sons at her bedside.
I am writing this to you through many tears. Janet Keim was one of the most influential people in my entire life. The Lord used her to bring me on staff here at CPC over 26 years ago, and my wife, Karen, and I served with her as volunteers five years prior to me joining the staff.
Janet Keim influenced so many people during her life, even though most never got the chance to meet or thank her. However, because of the Lord's powerful work through Janet at CPC for over 40 years, thousands upon thousands of preborn children got to take their first breath of air; a multitude of moms, dads, and families in crisis have been deeply cared for; and much . . . so very much . . . has been made of Jesus.
I called Janet, "Momma CPC". The Lord used her to help birth this ministry so many years ago, and she was like a mother to me. I will cherish the memories, will miss her greatly, and yet, I rejoice that she is in the arms of Jesus now.
More information about funeral arrangements and ways you can honor Janet will be communicated soon. In the meantime, please pray for her family as they grieve, and please give thanks to God for how He used this remarkable woman for the good of so many in our community and for His glory.
So grateful for Jesus,
Toby DeBause, President
