💵 “Alex, I’ll take Original Sin For $500.00.”
Answer: “This is what Eve and Adam committed in the Garden or Eden.”
🪴 And the correct question is, “What sin did Adam and Eve commit in the Garden of Eden?” If we were playing the TV game Jeopardy, that might be one of the questions.
🍎 Some believe Adam and Eve committed the first sin or original sin in the Garden of Eden. And they believe that original sin contaminated the rest of humankind. What about you? Do you think the rest of humankind was contaminated by that first sin? Some think every person who has been born since Adam and Eve were born with sin and with a disposition to sin?
🍏 By contrast, some say no. People were born sinless. Oh yes, we sin but we sin on our own. We don’t need any help from Adam and Eve. They take a more hopeful view of humankind. People are good. They believe the world will get better. Look at science. We’ve made great advances in science. Look at governments. More people live under governments that have the rule of law and democracy than ever before in human history. What do you think? Are people born good or bad? We will discuss this on Sunday?
This Sunday will be exciting!
