💫Tuesday Devotional: Stop Begging for the Wrong Thing💫

🙌The man at the gate had been begging for a long time. It was all he knew. Every day he asked for coins, for spare change, for just enough to get by. And every day, people passed and dropped something in his cup. It kept him alive, but it never changed his life. Here is the hard truth. He was begging for what he wanted, not what he needed. He wanted money. He needed healing. And those are two very different prayers. It is worth asking yourself honestly: what have you been bringing to God lately? Are your prayers full of requests for comfort, for convenience, for things to just get easier? Or are you asking God to do the deeper work, the kind that actually changes you from the inside out? God is not bothered by your requests. He welcomes them. But sometimes He is waiting for you to ask for the right thing. Not just relief from the pressure, but freedom from what is keeping you stuck in the first place. Money could not heal that man. Influence could not heal him. Only Jesus could. And the same is true for some of the things you are carrying right now. There are areas of your life that no person, no paycheck, and no plan can fix. Those are the places God is waiting to meet you. Bring Him the real need today.

📖Bible Verse
"Now a man who was lame from birth was being carried to the temple gate called Beautiful, where he was put every day to beg from those going into the temple courts." - Acts 3:2

❓Reflection Question
Is there a deeper need in your life that you have been avoiding bringing to God, perhaps because you are not sure He will answer it?

🎤Quote
"He was begging for what he wanted, not begging for what he needed. Could your prayer life be jacked up from the floor because you keep begging God for what you want and not begging God for what you really need?"

🙏🏾Prayer
God, forgive me for settling for small prayers when You are capable of so much more. Show me what I truly need, and give me the courage to ask You for it. Amen!

✨Monday Devotional: Where Is Your Attention?✨

🙌Every day, a lame man was carried to the same gate and left in the same spot. He had a routine, a rhythm built around what he lacked. And without realizing it, his attention had become fixed on survival rather than transformation. He was so focused on what he wanted that he never stopped to consider what he actually needed. That is an easy trap to fall into. Life gets loud. Bills pile up. Relationships get complicated. And before long, your attention is consumed by everything that feels urgent, and you stop looking up. But here is what is worth sitting with today. The moment Peter said "look at us," everything shifted. Not because the man did something extraordinary, but because he redirected his focus. That simple act of attention became the doorway to his miracle. What you give your attention to shapes what you expect. And what you expect shapes how you live. If your eyes are locked on the problem, the problem grows larger. If your eyes are on God, your perspective begins to shift. You do not have to have everything figured out. You just have to be willing to look in a different direction. God is not asking you to ignore your reality. He is inviting you to see it through His lens first. That is where change begins, not in your circumstances, but in your focus.

📖Bible Verse
"One day Peter and John were going up to the temple at the time of prayer, at three in the afternoon." - Acts 3:1

❓Reflection Question
What has been consuming most of your attention lately, and how might that be shaping what you expect from God?

🎤Quote
"Whatever has your attention has you. If money is your attention, it's going to have you. If it is problems has your attention, it's going to have you. You got to be careful of what you lend your attention to in this season."

🙏🏾Prayer
Lord, help me redirect my focus back to You when life pulls it in every direction. Teach me to see my situation through Your eyes, not just my own. Amen.

💫Friday Devotional: Set Apart and Ready to Be Used💫

🙌Holiness can sound like an intimidating word. It can bring to mind long lists of rules, religious performance, or a standard that feels impossible to reach. But at its core, holiness simply means being set apart for God's use. You do not have to be perfect to be used by God. You have to be available. Set apart does not mean separated from the world in a way that makes you irrelevant. It means your life is oriented toward His purpose, His glory, and His plan rather than your own. This is the destination of everything you have been working through this week. Honest self-examination, renewed thinking, releasing old patterns, all of it points toward one goal: a life that God can work through freely. Your mistakes do not disqualify you. Your past does not define your future. What God sees when He looks at you is not your worst moment. He sees someone He created, someone He is still shaping, and someone He wants to use. Walk in that identity today. You are not who you used to be. You are being made new, and that is worth celebrating.

📖Bible Verse
"And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness." - Ephesians 4:24

❓Reflection Question
If holiness simply means being set apart for God's use, what is one practical way you can orient your daily life more fully toward His purpose this week?

🎤Quote
"Holiness simply means to be set aside, to be used by God."

🙏🏾Prayer
Father, I want to be someone You can use. Set me apart for Your glory, and help me walk in the identity You have given me rather than the one my past tried to assign me. Amen!
