Our parking lot was filled with about 120 superheroes, princesses, cartoon characters, and various scary creatures, along with their families, for our annual Trunk or Treat. We had a great turnout on a warm, sunny day for trick or treating, games, prizes, free giveaways, c***r, and Timbits. A big thank you to all who helped make it another successful, fun afternoon.

Grace Ladies met Tuesday, October 20, for a brief meeting and to make Chrismons for our church Christmas trees. Wendy Coleman and Jane Schulz were the hostesses. Our annual w**e n cheese meeting will be Tuesday, November 17, at 6 pm with Virginia Markel and Wendy Coleman as hostesses. Our Christmas party will be Tuesday, December 8, at 5:30 pm. It will be catered by the ALPS, like last year. We will finalize the menu at our November meeting. All ladies of Grace are invited to all meetings and activities. Come when you can!!

TRUNK OR TREAT: Mark your calendars for this year’s Trunk or Treat on Saturday, October 24, from 3 - 4:30 pm in our parking lot, 736 Cayuga Drive (indoors if raining). Candy, games, prizes, freebies, Timbits, and c***r. Here’s a few pics from last year’s event. Come and join the fun!!

On Tuesday, September 15, Grace Ladies had 13 in attendance for a brief meeting, yummy snacks, and a guest speaker, Melody Burow, (Lin Matiasz”s sister). Ursula Zimmerman and Erika Tuscher were hostesses. Melody spoke about DAR—Daughters of the American Revolution. We learned LOTS of history and projects of the DAR, and then Melody led a game of American trivial pursuit with prizes. Melody has been a member of DAR for 41 years, and Gerry Miller has been a member for 55 years. We are looking into an October field trip to Becker Farms either Monday, 10/12, or Friday, 10/16. Sue Loss will call and get details. Our October meeting will be Tuesday, 10/20. We will make chrismons for our church Christmas trees. Hostesses will be Wendy Coleman and Jane Schulz.

It was the perfect weather today for delivering the school supplies, socks, and underwear that were donated over the summer. Pictured are Wendy Coleman and Jane Schulz from Grace, and Tracy Spagnolo (Vice Principal) and Allen Cowart (Principal) of Harry Abate Elementary School in Niagara Falls. They expressed appreciation for our care and support of their students in need.

Thank you to our congregation’s members and VBS participants for your generous donations of school supplies and clothing. Your gifts will be delivered next week to Harry Abate Elementary School where teachers will distribute them to students in need.

Grace Ladies’ annual August picnic was held Tuesday, Aug 4, at 5:30 at church. It was organized and set up by President Lin and her crew. There were 26 in attendance, including Dorothy Snider’s daughter, Terri, who presented Grace Ladies a $500 check in memory of her mom. Thanks to Doug and Randy for grilling the hotdogs and hamburgs to go with all the yummy side dishes and desserts. Thanks to Lin and daughter, Janice, for leading our games, a take off from Wheel of Fortune, called Wheel of Faith.

Our September meeting will be Tuesday the 15th, beginning at 6PM with guest speaker, Mel Burow (Lin’s sister) who will share about DAR - Daughters of the American Revolution.🇺🇸

Today we were privileged to recognize our senior members who are celebrating birthdays this year in their 80’s, 90’s, and one who recently turned 101. Many of them have been members of Grace all or most of their lives and have participated in numerous activities at Grace through the years. After worship, we sang a rousing version of “Happy Birthday” and enjoyed a delicious cake and fellowship in the chapel with family and friends. We are thankful for all of the blessings God has bestowed on these special members during their lifetimes. God is good!

God finds me, no matter my sin. 1 Tim 1:15 tells us “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners.” We had 19 on our final night of Tropical Trek VBS. Thanks to all students, families, youth helpers and adult staff for all you did this week. All are welcome to come to our Sunday School starting in Sept from 9-10:15.

God finds me when I have no hope, and gives me JOY!! Today our 22 students heard the story from Luke 24:1-12. Jesus Rises from the Dead!! We used colorful sand to make beautiful butterflies. 🦋 And we played a fun game, as the pictures show, in our church basement due to the weather. Our snack was strawberries, blueberries, and whipped cream. Come join us tomorrow from 6-8 for our last night of Tropical Trek VBS.
