Fourteen ladies met on Tuesday, May 19 , to plan upcoming activities and events.
They will be shared in our yearly brochure. Alice Moll started the meeting with a devotion “Hang it on the Cross.”Our June field trip is Tuesday, June 9. Meet at church parking lot at 9:30 to carpool. Leave church at 9:45AM to go to Orange Poppy Art Studio where Katelyn works part time. It’s on Baseline Rd, Grand Island - across from St Stephen’s church. We will be making a mosaic picture frame. Cost is $10. Then we will be going to Brick Oven on Gr Island Blvd for lunch, followed by a stop at Kelly’s Country Store just down the street before heading back to church.
A sign up sheet, sample picture frame, and restaurant menu are on glass case in Chapel. So far, 13 have signed up - come join us!!
We held election of officers. Motion was made, seconded, and passed to keep our present officers for 2 more years: President- Melinda Matiasz, VP - Robin Stephenson, Treasurer - Ursula Zimmerman, Secretary- Virginia Markel, Publicity - Jane Schulz.
No meeting in July. Summer picnic at Grace at 5:30 on Tuesday, August 4.
