First Baptist Church, 2640 S. Canal Street, Newton Falls will be hosting the Joyful Connections Community Choir in concert on Sunday, May 31 beginning at 7:00 PM. The choir, under the direction of Mrs. Maria Fish, will be presenting a concert entitled “Music Through the Decades” and will feature popular musical selections from the 50’s, 60’s and all the way through 2010’s. The choir is comprised of singers from the Warren/Youngstown area. The event is free and open to the public.

"Women's Day" will be held at First Baptist Church, 2640 S. Canal Street, Newton Falls on Sunday, May 3. The women of the church will be leading the 10:45 AM Morning Worship service. Special guest will be Brenda Jarvis. Brenda has served as a missionary to Mexico City, is an author and she, along with her husband, Charles, are a part of the singing duo "The Golden Street Singers". A free church-wide luncheon, open to all, will follow the service.

An “Outdoor Easter Sunrise Service” will be held Sunday, April 5 beginning at 7:30 AM. The outdoor service will take place at the Newton Falls City Park main pavilion. The 35-40 minute service, led by First Baptist Church, Newton Falls, will include Easter hymns, prayer, communion and a brief devotion. Individuals may bring lawn chairs to sit in the grass area or may remain in their cars and listen on their radio as the service will also be broadcast using an FM transmitter. Host pastor is Rev. Steve Spurlock.

A Christmas Eve Candlelight Service will be held at 5:00 PM at First Baptist Church, 2640 South Canal Street, Newton Falls. The service will include traditional Christmas carols/hymns, a brief message entitled "The Perfect Gift" and will conclude with a congregational candle lighting.

First Baptist Church, Newton Falls will have it annual "Hayride Event" on Sunday, October 26. The event begins at 5:00 PM and will include games, activities, a supper meal...and of course, the "Hayride"!! All are welcome.

In conjunction with the “Newton Falls Community-wide Garage Sale” First Baptist Church of Newton Falls is providing a “Community OutReach Giveaway” on Friday & Saturday (August 15-16). The “Giveaway” will be held both days from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the church parking lot. All types of items are available (household items, knick-knacks, shoes, purses, etc.) and are being given away…at no cost. The church is located at 2640 South Canal Street, Newton Falls. All are welcome.

Vacation Bible School at First Baptist Church, 2640 S. Canal Street, Newton Falls will be held July 13-18 nightly from 6:00 to 8:30 PM.
The school is free and is open to children ages 4 years old through 6th Grade. The theme is “Resting Easy in God’s Love.”

Women's Day 2025...First Baptist Church will be observing Women's Day on Sunday, March 30 at the 10:45 AM Morning Worship Service. The women of the church will be leading the service. Mariya Tatarin will be the special guest speaker at the service. Mariya grew up in Ukraine and her life was dramatically impacted, as a young girl, through the Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child shoebox gift. She will share how God used the gift of this shoebox in a powerful way within her own life.
