EFFECTIVE NEXT SUNDAY - April 12th!

In preparation of the arrival of Rev. Lisa Courtwright to lead us in July, we are returning to our 9 am worship time.

Leading our service next Sunday will be Kaila Mohney of the Howland United Methodist Church. Kaila is entering the candidacy process to become at pastor in the UMC and will be in our pulpit for several weeks. When Kaila is unavailable, we have retired elders Rev. Marilyn Coney and Rev. Vern Shepherd bringing the morning message.

If you want to hear Gabby Darrin preach "one more time" - then Easter Sunday (4/5) will be your opportunity. She has accepted a position as music director with her dad's church in Carrollton and will be starting there immediately the following week. While missing us and the worship leader position, Gabby feels transitioning to music director in Carrollton will provide a balance between serving and continuing to teach. We wish her well and success in her new role.

Our congratulations to Johnny Bustard on winning the 7/8 grade division of Challenge 24 Math tournament at Harding! This was his last year so he really was excited to go out with 🥇🏆 Johnny is pictured with his coach Mr Bailey.

Wow - if you didn’t come for today’s fellowship luncheon you really missed out on some very yummy food! Thanks to “Chef” Tim Stinson and family for preparing today’s feast and for making sure we all satisfied! It certainly went with Gabby’s message, as we were blessed with both a delicious meal and wonderful fellowship!

This inaugural season of LaBrae’s Speech and Debate officially came to an end over the weekend. Braceville UMC congratulations to Robert Stevens for making it to semifinals in Senate for Congressional Debate! 👏
