Today’s inspirational verses:

We aren't just supposed to listen to or hear God's Word; it doesn't end there. We are to apply the word of God in our lives as well. The more we learn about God and His character, we are to apply what we have learned in our lives. God doesn't expect us to just be hearers of the word, remaining idle in our ways. The Christian life is about being active. We must be conscious of the transformation occurring in us, and when we are required to do our part, we shouldn't hesitate in doing it.

Jesus was the "corn of wheat" that died that he might bring forth much fruit to God, bringing many sons to glory. But believers can also be like him in this. First, because "the blood of the martyrs is the seed of the Church. " But second, because when we die to self and live for God, it can be used of God in winning souls to him.

Was really wanting to be at church yesterday but my sugar was staying between 45 and 60 all day and night. It’s finally up to 65 and steady at the moment. I’m feeling weak from it and tired. At the dr in Knoxville now so prayers are appreciated. I miss church and everyone there.

We should not despise any member of Christ's body based on their having a different gift that what we have been blessed with.

How can we know and obey the will of God for our lives? It will not happen if we are conformed to the ways of this world. But we must be transformed within, that that change may have its visible outward effects. And that transformation is by what? by the renewing of our minds, through conformity to the Word of God.
