The calling lease clear...
The sojourning less certain...
Yet still You are guiding us...

The nights seem darker ....
The days far shorter...
The warmth fleeting...
Yet still You offer hope unto us...

Give thanks in the hope of Salvation...
The Refuge of Peace...
The Light of Truth...
The gift of Mercy...

Evermore Devos - This Night: Following His Light

As this Night darkness and the times groan,
We seek Your Light...
As this Night stretches long before us,
May Your Light shine upon our pathways...
As this Night haunts us with things we were unprepared for,
May Your Light banish all doubt and fear.

As we Seek Your Light,
May Your Word guide our feet.
As we Seek Your Light,
May we gain encooragment in the fellowship of believers.
As we Seek Your Light,
May Your House always be our Refuge in the Night...

As Your Light Shines,
May we reflect it into this lost and dying world.
As Your Light Shines,
May we reflect it in our families.
As Your Light Shines,
May we follow it to the ends of the World.
That all who sit in darkness may say
"We have Seen a Great Light!"

May we follow Your Light, Jesus, this day, this night, and evermore!

Evermore Devo: Lamp in the Darkness

The day is dead, and the night is dark.
The eve it hollows, the moon is of yet unrisen.
Yet still we reform our minds, and light the lamp.

How too should we light the lamp of our Life?
Jesus has asked us each to go forth as Lights in the darkness... Are our lamps shining?
Offering hope in a lost and dying world?
Are they filled with His oil?
Our hearts and minds full of His Word?
Are they lit?
Connected via the Holy Spirit to Jesus' true Light?

Are we hiding under a basket or bucket?
Or are we shining in the window calling lost souls in?
Are we swinging in the riders hand, seeking the lost one, while the 99 wait warm in the barn?
Are we standing on Golgotha's hill, where our Light cannot be hid?

Help us Lord shine Your Light,
This Day, this Night, and Evermore!

Evermore Devos - This Night: God Still Hears
God still hears us.
No matter how hard things get.
No matter how many times you think things are turning around,
and they don't...
God still hears.

We just have to cry out.
No matter if we feel Him there or not.
No matter if people get who we are or how we dress.
No matter if the path gets confusing sometimes.
We just have to cry out...
Because God still hears.

We just have to keep seeking.
No matter how dark the night gets.
No matter how close the storms blow.
No matter how rough the waters get.
We just have to keep seeking.

Because God Still Hears...

Evermore Devo: Hope in the Darkness...

Darkness falls like leaves around me.
Darkness creeps like a fox through the briars.
Darkness returns like ever returning cycles of life.

Yet like the warm autumn sun,
Your Light shines through trees.
Like the doves cooing above the fox den,
Your Light calls me to come and rest.
Like the faithfulness of the seasons,
Your Light guides me.

So even as the Darkness deepens,
May we follow Your Light,
This day, this night, and evermore.
