Join us on June 19th at 7:00 PM as we welcome the renowned Christian brass ensemble, The King’s Brass, for a special concert you won’t want to miss!

For over 40 years, The King’s Brass has been sharing the Gospel through powerful and uplifting music. Featuring three trumpets, three trombones, tuba, keyboards, and percussion, they bring a unique blend of sacred classics, hymns, patriotic favorites, jazz spirituals, and more. Their energetic and worshipful performances are designed to encourage believers of all ages and point hearts toward Christ.

Whether you love traditional hymns, inspiring worship music, or simply enjoy exceptional musicianship, this will be a wonderful evening for the whole family.

🎉🔧 What an incredible final night at VBS: Junkyard Redemption! 🔧🎉

Day 4 was packed with fun, laughter, great songs, delicious food, and so many opportunities to learn about Jesus!

A big congratulations to Tim, Melissa, and Chelsie, who won our “Rust to Redemption” challenge. They definitely took the assignment seriously and did an amazing job transforming something old into something new!

We also raised lots of money for new shoes for children in our community, and there was plenty of silly string flying around as the competition came to an exciting end! 🎉😆

As you walked through the hallways, you could hear laughter, excitement, and songs about Jesus being sung from every corner of the church. What a beautiful sound!

Thank you to every family who allowed your kiddos to spend the week with us. It was a joy to share God’s love with them and watch them learn that Jesus can bring beauty from the broken places in our lives.

We are so grateful for every volunteer who gave their time, energy, and love throughout the week. A very special thank you goes to Mrs. Bekah for the countless hours of planning, organizing, decorating, and leading. Her dedication helped make this year’s VBS another incredible success!

❤️ We pray the lessons learned this week continue to grow in the hearts of our children long after VBS is over.

🎉 Day 3 of VBS was packed with excitement, games, laughter, delicious snacks, and most importantly, learning about Jesus! ❤️

What an incredible week we’ve had at Junkyard Redemption! We are so thankful for every child, volunteer, and family who has been a part of this special time.
The kiddos even got to give out high fives and fist bumps to Sarge when he came by for a visit!

⭐ Join us tonight at 8:00 PM in the sanctuary for our Closing Celebration! We can’t wait to share all that God has done this week.

👟 Tonight is also the LAST opportunity to bring new shoes and spare change to help children in our community.

🎯 And the moment everyone has been waiting for… we’ll find out which teacher gets SILLY STRINGED! 🎉😄

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego trusted God even when they were thrown into the fiery furnace. God didn’t keep them out of the fire—He walked with them through it.

No matter what flames you’re facing today, remember: God is faithful. He is present. He is able.

🎙️🔧 The first two nights of VBS have been an incredible success!

There has been plenty of fun, laughter, and excitement happening at Junkyard Redemption as our kids learn that God can take the broken pieces of our lives and make something beautiful.

We have loved every minute spent with these amazing kiddos and are so thankful that God brought them to spend these special days with us. Seeing their smiles, hearing their laughter, and watching them grow in their faith has been such a blessing!

Thank you to all of our volunteers, parents, and church family who have helped make this week so special.

What a blessing it has been to witness lives being changed by the power of Jesus Christ this year at First Baptist Newport!

We rejoice with Dustin Greene, Jordan Barrett, and Livia McMahan as they publicly proclaimed their faith in Christ through baptism. Each baptism is a beautiful testimony of God’s saving grace and a reminder that He is still transforming hearts and changing lives.

As a church family, we celebrate these decisions and look forward to seeing how God continues to work in and through them. Please join us in praying for David, Jordan, and Livia as they continue their walk with the Lord.

Baptism doesn’t save us—it is an outward expression of the inward change that Jesus has already made. It is a step of obedience and a public declaration that we belong to Him.

We are so excited to welcome your children for an incredible week of fun, worship, games, crafts, and learning about Jesus!

Throughout the week, our VBS campers will discover an amazing truth: the Gospel brings eternal beauty from the rust in our lives. No matter our mistakes or brokenness, God can redeem, restore, and make all things new through Jesus Christ.

✨ We can’t wait for your family to experience everything we have planned!

📝 Registration begins at 5:00 PM. Please arrive between 5:00–5:30 PM to get your child checked in.
