Jesus didn’t just speak about serving. He demonstrated it. ❤️

In John 13, Jesus—the King of Kings—got down on His knees and washed the feet of His disciples. He showed us what true leadership looks like.

Servant leadership isn’t about being above others. It’s about being willing to kneel down and serve them.

That is the foundation our church was built on—and the foundation we pray will carry us forward. A church filled with people willing to serve, love, give, help, and put others before themselves.

As we celebrate 150 years, may we never forget that the strength of the church isn’t found in a building. It’s found in people who are willing to follow the example of Jesus.

He served. He loved. He demonstrated. And He calls us to do the same.

“Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet.” — John 13:14

May we always be a church willing to get on our knees and serve. ❤️

📖 Take a few minutes with God this weekend. 💙

Life gets busy, but sometimes the best thing we can do is simply slow down, open God’s Word, and spend a little time with Him.

Grab your 150th Anniversary Devotional Guide, find a quiet spot, and let God speak to your heart. 🙏

✨ A few quiet minutes with God can change the direction of your whole day.

If you spend some time in your devotional this weekend, drop a ❤️ below and encourage someone else to do the same!

🧹🪣 Many Hands, One Mission! ❤️❤️

What a blessing it was to see our church family come together to help get our new Ministry Center ready!

We saw smiles, hard work, dedication, teamwork, and most importantly—prayer. 🙏 There were people cleaning, wiping, sweeping, organizing, and doing whatever needed to be done. Every helping hand made a difference!

These pictures are just a little sneak peek of this beautiful new space—and only capture a few of the countless hands that have worked so hard to help make it possible.

But this building is about so much more than clean floors, new rooms, tables and chairs. It’s about ministry. It’s about people. It’s about lives being changed. ❤️

We cannot wait to see what God is going to do within these walls—the fellowship that will happen, the children and families who will be loved, the community that will be served, and the lives that will be touched for Jesus.

To every person who cleaned, worked, prayed, gave, encouraged, or helped along the way—THANK YOU!

The Ministry Center is almost ready… but we believe God is just getting started! 🙌

To God be the glory! ❤️

How often have you thought about who you want to be in the future? And when you picture that person, is being a faithful follower of Christ part of who you hope to become? ❤️

This week, Dr. Lloyd reminded us that our walk with Christ is a lifelong journey of growing, learning, and becoming. Paul gives us a formula for living with a continual desire to grow in the Lord.

We shouldn’t settle for who we are today. There is always room to grow deeper in our faith, learn more about God’s Word, and become more like Christ.

Do you remember the 4-point plan Dr. Lloyd shared with us? 🤔
Drop one of the points in the comments if you remember!

As you go through this week, take some time to reflect on Sunday’s message. Be honest with yourself:

Who do I want to become?
Am I growing into the follower of Christ that God is calling me to be?

📖 Some good reading for this week:
• Colossians 2:6
• Matthew 7
• Luke 2

Don’t settle. Keep growing. Keep learning. Keep following Jesus. 🙏

And if you missed Sunday’s message, we hope you’ll take some time to catch up and then join us this Sunday as we continue growing together! ❤️
