This is a post that Ive made less than the fingers on my hands in soon to be 25yrs in ministry.
Feed My Sheep Ministries operates by faith that the Lord will give us our daily bread and the overhead of our facility to keep our doors open.
It's our conviction that a Christian Ministry should be that- Dependent on our Father, not the government. We dont judge others who do federal or state funding.
Our Father gave us dominion over this earth so that made us the caretakers. He uses people to be His hands & feet.
June-Oct are our hardest months to pay our $1500 rent, 2 electric bills, water, phone/internet, gas for our commercial cookstove & emergency heat, exterminator, insurances, and items we need to serve or to fix things that need repaired. Dayton does most of those repairs himself with help occasionally.
We need help and humbly ask that if the Lord tells you, please support what is done in the building down at the Railroad Tracks. Below are some things that happen at FMSM.

▪︎ First, and most importantly, we give a sense of belonging to those who many have no one else or nowhere to go. This is our open door to minister to their spiritual, physical, and emotional beings. We provide a Sanctuary to The Forgotten Ones of Society. Many tell us they feel such peace while there and sadly, they say the 5hrs a day that we're open is the only peace in their lives. We as Christians know this is the Spirit of God ❤️
We realize our family is messy and isn't for the faint of heart. But we know they are created in His Image and have no doubt of our calling before Our Creator. We LOVE our family! We provide the first step of love & acceptance to being trust and being a family again. Until this happens, sometimes salvations dont come and they never find that perfect will of the Lord that we tell them about. Sadly, some we will feed the rest of their life. Jesus said the poor would be with us always.
▪︎ Our Community Kitchen serves 7 days a week!
▪︎ We're the only Warming Center for the homeless and those without sustainable heat. We've been doing this since Jan 2018 when the temp dips into the 30s. Others have tried to provide a short respit, but our family trusts only us to come sleep in our sanctuary. Trust me, if they trusted others, we'd gladly give this to a church/organization bc when you operate 7 days a wk, it's stressful & tiring!!
▪︎ We close 4 days per year to provide the Christy Mission church service, do all the lawn maintenance before each meal, and help provide and cook the food. These meals date back to the 1890s! We've been doing this over 20yrs and Larry from Christy also voounteers every week with us!
The only other days we close are if it's so iced, that no more than 2 volunteers can make it. This hasn't happened in a few years. I did have to close for an emergency on July 4th.
▪︎ We have Praise & Worship and Bible study on Sundays. A daily devotion is done in the dining room Mon-Sat and it's always ended with the message of Salvation. We feed Spiritually before we feed Physically. We've seen so many salvations & miraculous of physical healings over the years!
▪︎ TVCH comes every other Tuesday with a shower trailer with everything needed for a 30min, hot shower!! What a blessing they are to us and so many counties!
▪︎ Cocke County Health Dept has a table set up weekly to help our folks with items, help with rehab placement, etc.
▪︎ Clothing & hygiene items are given FREE OF CHARGE.
These are things that happen at the Railroad Corner of C Ave & Main ST! If you cant support us financially, please pray for us! We want to continue to be Harvesters of the white field to Build the Kingdom ✝️
Carol & Dayton, and our son Robert Livingston
2nd generation has entered in and we are excited to see how the Lord uses our beloved Son! Many have been healed during his 2yrs of preaching and he's on Fire with Preaching the Good News as he teaches The Word every Sunday! We also add our Volunteer Team who serve others! They are our biggest strength ❤️
