His Word is full of His love through Jesus and how people have failed. We love because God loves us. And God’s love is so big, we should have so much of His love to share!

Big Idea: Because God is sovereign over every human authority, believers should submit to governing authorities while reserving their ultimate allegiance for Christ alone.”

Big Idea: Because Christ has overcome evil, believers must refuse to be conquered by evil and instead overcome evil with Christlike good.”

There are commands in Scripture that seem difficult: Be generous. Tell the truth. Forgive. Then there are commands that seem impossible. This is one. God doesn’t merely tell us not to fight back. He commands us to bless the very people who make our lives harder. This is impossible for us without God.

Big Idea: The Gospel empowers believers to do what is naturally IMPOSSIBLE: bless those who persecute them.”
