The Alpha and the Omega. The beginning and the end. The God we worship has been, is, and always will be Lord of all. The Bible gives us pictures of His provision and protection all throughout its pages, and every story points to Jesus.

If you don't know what it means to trust Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we'd love to talk with you about that and pray for you as you move from unbelief to belief. Please reach out to us at [email protected].

When you hear the word WORSHIP, what is the first thing that comes to mind? Most likely, music is involved. But worship isn't just about singing. Worship, at its core, is our response to God for who He is and what He does (Louie Giglio). When we gather for worship at FC, our response includes singing. And, it also includes studying God's word, praying, sharing communion, celebrating baptism, being generous, and serving. All of these responses of worship help us continue to move from unbelief to belief. Join us on Sundays at 9am or 10:30am and worship with us!

"It’s Your breath in our lungs, so we pour out our praise to You only."

Life, hope, the breath in our lungs . . . all of it given to us by God who loves us deeply. Our response: worship. Worship isn't just something we do for an hour on Sunday mornings—it's a lifestyle. Whether you're driving to work, hanging out with the kids, studying, or just enjoying a quiet moment with your morning coffee, every breath is an opportunity to praise Him.

As you listen to "Great Are You Lord" today (and sing along!), let it be a reminder that every breath we breathe is an opportunity to recognize God's hand in our life and give Him praise for it.

How are you finding moments to worship in your everyday life this week? Let us know in the comments!

On this Memorial Day, we do not take for granted the cost of freedom. We honor those who have given their lives to defend our nation, and we pray for those they left behind.

“Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.”
‭‭John‬ ‭15‬:‭13‬

FULL CIRCLE MOMENTS. Have you ever had one of those moments when you realized God had been working in you before He was working through you? Maybe it was a moment when you were used by God in the life of someone else, and you realized that your journey had prepared you to help someone else through their journey. Maybe it was a moment when a circumstance in your life shifted in a positive direction and you discovered that you were changed before the circumstance was.

Last Sunday, we looked at Hannah's story in 1 Samuel 1, and discovered that her journey to motherhood was marked not by sentimentality, but by deep anguish, persistent prayer, and ultimately, radical surrender. And the remarkable thing about her story is that before God worked through Hannah by giving her a son, He worked in her, shaping her character and deepening her trust.

As you look at the opportunities and circumstances in your life, don't just pray that God would resolve difficulty or bring about success - pray that he would work in you and prepare you for how He wants to work through you. If you'd like us to pray with you about something in your life, reach out to us at [email protected].

Serving God doesn't just happen within the walls of a church building. There are opportunities to serve God all around our community by helping others see His love in real and practical ways. One of these practical ways involves supporting foster families as they help children survive and thrive in one of the toughest seasons of their lives.

Research shows that foster children often have less opportunity for academic growth. Even just a few hours a week of tutoring can boost a child's confidence and help them catch up on skills they need to succeed in the classroom. If you'd like to talk with someone about how you can come alongside a family in our area this summer, please stop by the Community Impact booth in the lobby this Sunday or send us a message and we'll connect you with our Family Advocacy Ministry. Not everyone is called to foster, but everyone can do SOMETHING.
