This Sunday marks the final Sunday of Advent. Together, we will light the fourth candle—Love.

ā€œSee what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!ā€
—1 John 3:1

God loved us so deeply that He sent His Son to be the Savior of the world. As we light the candle of Love, we are reminded of the hope, peace, joy, and love we have through Christ—the Savior who came for all.

Join us this Sunday at 10:30 am as we continue to prepare our hearts and celebrate the love made known to us in Jesus.

ā€œDo not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.ā€ — Luke 2:10–11

This is the good news we live and share: a Savior has been born. We do not have to be afraid, because the King has come—come to bring hope, peace, joy, and love to the world, and to each of us personally.

As Christmas draws near, we rejoice together in the love of Christ. If you are searching, wondering, or simply wanting to know more about this good news, we would love to walk with you and share the story.

Join us this Sunday, Christmas Sunday, as we light the fourth Advent candle—the candle of Love—and celebrate the birth of our Savior together.

As Christmas draws near, we’re invited to embrace the joy so freely given to us through Christ. This is a joy meant to be shared—with our loved ones, our friends, our neighbors, and our wider community.

Let us rejoice together, with those near and far, and live out the good news in word and action. With grateful hearts, let us proclaim the hope of this season: our Savior is born!

Join us this Christmas Eve as we gather for our annual candlelight service—one of the most beloved traditions at Newberg Friends. Our Bell Choir will open the evening, inviting us into a time of worship as we celebrate the coming of our King.

In the middle of all the planning and holiday bustle, we’re reminded to pause… to sit at the feet of Christ, to worship, and to give thanks for the One God sent to bring light and life to the world.

We’d love for you—and those you care about—to join us on Christmas Eve as we celebrate the birth of our Savior together. Come experience the beauty, the stillness, and the hope of this night with your Newberg Friends Church family.
