“JESUS IS LORD!” 🌊🙌🏽

This Sunday, we celebrated a baptism right on the sidewalk of Avenue U as David made the decision to give his life fully to Christ. Surrounded by his brothers, sisters, worship, and the love of God, heaven truly rejoiced with us.

Moments like these remind us that God is still changing lives every single day. Welcome to God’s Kingdom, David!

Sunday service was one for the books. 🙌🏽

From the first song, the room was filled with joy, unity, and heartfelt worship. Jay and Tyler Scagliotta welcomed us with Ephesians 1:3-6, reminding us that we belong to God and are blessed in Him. ❤️

After fellowship, Elias and Aneriz Re led communion from Psalms 32:1-8, reflecting on God’s grace and transformation. Nobel and Tyliah Kekele shared an encouraging contribution message from 2 Corinthians 1:4-6 about giving with grateful hearts.

We closed with an inspiring lesson from Cory Blackwell, “We Belong To God,” reminding us to keep God at the center, trust Him fully, and fight for love and unity.

A beautiful Sunday filled with worship, family, and God’s presence.

Mother’s Day Sunday Service 💐

This past Sunday we celebrated the love, sacrifice, and faithfulness reflected through mothers and ultimately through God Himself.

Clive welcomed us with Isaiah 66, reminding us that a mother’s love resembles the love of God.

During communion, Tyliah Kekele shared vulnerably about sacrificial love and having a heart that truly pleases God, while Amanda Annamah encouraged us through Romans 10 on how giving changes lives and helps others know God.

Nobel Kekele preached a powerful sermon titled “God’s Nature on Display Through Mothers.” Through scriptures like Genesis 1, Romans 5:8, 2 Timothy 1:5, and Isaiah 49:15, we learned that mothers give life, sacrifice greatly, and remain faithful and loyal — all reflections of God’s nature.

Challenge of the week: speak life into someone around you 🤍

This past Sunday’s service was a call to the heart. ❤️

We began with a warm welcome from Akuah and Obere, grounding us in Romans 12:9–13 and what it means to love sincerely. In communion, Julia shared from Matthew 16:24–26, reminding us that the cross is where we find true life—letting go of what we thought we needed to receive God’s peace, joy, and purpose.

Through contribution, Devorah encouraged us with 2 Corinthians 9:10–15, showing that our giving has purpose and that humility allows us to both receive and give as God does.

The sermon by Emeka Annamah challenged us deeply: God is after our hearts. Through David’s life, we saw that obedience, trust, and purity of heart matter more than outward appearance—even our obstacles are shaping us.

“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.” (Matthew 5:8)
Where is your heart toward God?
