Today, we pay tribute to a man who was far more than just a dreamer. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s relentless pursuit of equality not only played a pivotal role in the enactment of the Act of 1964 and the 1965 Voting Rights Act but also helped bring about significant changes in national labor practices. Let us take a moment to contemplate his profound message and consider how we can all carry forward his legacy.

Today, we honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., a visionary whose courage and sacrifice forever changed the course of our nation.

WE are Dr. King’s legacy.

Every voice raised against injustice, every action taken to fight inequity, continues the tradition of progress he championed. We owe it to him—and to ourselves—not to let anyone drag us back to darker times.

So, we ask: What does honoring Dr. King look like to you? Let’s keep his dream alive.
