Community Worship Cancelled for tonight but come on up for some ice cream!

Due to the weather forecast, the Ministerial Alliance has canceled the Community Church Service that was scheduled for this evening in City Park.
But the evening isn't canceled!
The Rose Festival Committee has decided to host a Community Free Ice Cream Social instead.

🕕 6:00 p.m.
Come enjoy some ice cream, visit with friends and neighbors, and celebrate with our community.

🌹🎀 What a wonderful Roses & Ribbons Festival weekend! 🎀🌹

As our 2026 Rose Festival comes to a close, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make this weekend so special.

Thank you to our volunteers, sponsors, vendors, entertainers, churches, organizations, committee members, and all of the community members who came out to participate. We'd also like to extend a special thank you to the North Mahaska School District and staff, the City of New Sharon, and the incredible team behind the Jace Race for their partnership and support throughout the weekend. From the parade and car show to the contests, food, games, music, and activities, it was a joy to see our community gathered together once again.

Before we officially wrap up the weekend, we'd love for you to join us for one final event:
