Have you ever wondered how the parchment of a Torah Scroll is attached to the wooden polls, called the Atzei Chayim? NOLA born Sofer, Rabbi Yosef Kaufmann, will be at Anshe Sfard today at 1:30 attaching one of our Torah's to new Atzei Chayim!

This Sunday is the 3334th anniversary of the Revelation at Sinai, when all the people of Israel stood at the foot of Mountain and heard G-d utter the Ten Commandments.
On Sunday, we will read that story in the Torah and experience it again. Just as then, all Jews, men, women and children, were present, so today, every Jew should come to Shul to hear this reading.
Come to Anshe Sfard at 10:45 AM on Sunday for the reading of the Ten Commandments, followed by a festive lunch with ice cream, cheesecake and more!
