4-FEAR of DEATH
Words Have Meaning

Jim Elliot said, "He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to obtain what he cannot lose."

NO ONE who TRUSTS in JESUS needs to be AFRAID of DEATH.

IF we are living FOR Jesus, THROUGH Him, and BY Him, we should NOT BE AFRAID to DIE for Him, and GO to be WITH Him.

Psalms 118:6: "The LORD is ON my SIDE, I will NOT FEAR what man can do unto me."

Psalms 23:4: "Yea, though I walk THROUGH the Valley of the SHADOW of DEATH, I will FEAR NO EVIL, for THOU art WITH ME."

Physical and Spiritual Courage is DARING to STAKE ALL on GOD, for HE will WiN in the END!

BUT, to those who have NOT TRUSTED in GOD, Luke 12:4 says, "Be not afraid of them that kill the body and after have no more they can do. BUT, FEAR HIM who after He kills has the power to cast into hell; yea I say, FEAR HIM.

BECAUSE, "It is APPOINTED unto men once to die, but after this the JUDGMENT," (Hebrews 9:27).

IF you say, "NO, GOD!" and do not come to KNOW GOD, you will have FEAR KNOTS! BUT, if you come to KNOW GOD, you can FEAR NOT in this Life and in the Life to Come!!!

3-FEAR of SUFFERING
Words Have Meaning

II Corinthians 12:9: “And He said unto me, MY GRACE is sufficient for thee: for My Strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the POWER of CHRIST may rest upon me.”

There will come PAIN of BODY, SPIRIT, SOUL. BUT, we can TRUST the FATHER who PERMITS it.

Just LOOK at JESUS, as He HUNG on the CROSS. He suffered MORE than anyone else ever will, in His Body, Soul, Spirit. BUT, oh the JOY after the RESURRECTION!!! (For HIM, For US!)

For every TRIAL, every SUFFERING, there is a SPECIAL GRACE to see us through victoriously!

2-FEAR of FAILURE
Words Have Meaning

We may say, "WE CAN'T!" But God says, "WE CAN TOGETHER!"

Philippians 4:13: “I CAN do ALL THINGS through CHRIST which strengthens me,” when we RELY on GOD and not ourselves!

At School, on our Jobs, in Church, with Family, people can be AFRAID to MOVE FORWARD, AFRAID they will FAIL.

God Commanded Joshua in the first chapter, (after Moses had died), "ARISE, GO, CONQUER, for I WILL BE WITH YOU, just as I was with Moses. Be Strong and of Good Courage. BE NOT AFRAID. God reminded him, "Don't look at how big the Giants are, LOOK at HOW BIG I AM!"

THREE RULES FOR SUCCESS:
(1)-Go Forward
(2)-Trust God
(2)-Be Guided By the Word of God

Are we trusting God's Word today, in our Life, in our Church Life? God has promised to go with us if we GO WITH HIM!!!

FEAR KNOTS
1-FEAR of WANT
Words Have Meaning

Consider the Fowls and the Flowers. Matthew 6:25: "Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat or drink or what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body more than raiment? Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap or gather in barns; but yet your Heavenly Father feeds them. Are ye not much better than they?"

Matthew 6:28: "Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They toil not, neither do they spin. And yet I say to you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these."

Matthew 6:33: "But seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all of these things shall be added unto you."

Psalms 37:25: "I have been young, and am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread."

FEAR is the OPPOSITE of FAITH in God's Ability to Provide. As God's Children, we should have FAITH, and not FEAR, in Him.

Remember, Philippians 4:19: "But my God shall supply ALL your NEEDS according to HIS RICHES in Glory by CHRIST JESUS."
If you don't know God, TRUST HIM TODAY. Call upon JESUS to SAVE YOU!!! Have FAITH in HIM!!!

Not FEAR KNOTS
(But FEAR NOT)
Words Have Meaning

FEAR is a painful emotion, marked by alarm or dread. FEAR is an OLD as SIN. Genesis 3:9: "And the Lord God called Adam, Where art thou? Adam said, I heard Thy Voice in the Garden, and I was AFRAID for I was naked, and I HID myself."

From Genesis to Revelation, there are two types of FEAR:
1-HARMFUL FEAR
2-HOLY FEAR.

Only a Fool will not FEAR GOD!!! Proverbs 9:10: "The FEAR of the LORD is the BEGINNING of WISDOM."

Matthew 10:28: "And FEAR NOT them which kill the body and are not able to kill the soul: but FEAR HIM who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? And one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. Even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. FEAR NOT, ye are of more value than many sparrows."

Ecclesiastes 12:13: "Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: FEAR GOD and keep His Commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall judge every work of man with every secret thing, if it be good or if it be evil."

You can run as far and as fast as you can, but death will catch you. Amos 5:19: "As if a man did flee from a lion and a bear met him; or he went into the house and leaned his hand on the wall and a serpent bit him."

Psalms 27:1: "The Lord is my Light and my Salvation, WHOM shall I FEAR, the Lord is the Strength of my Life, of WHOM shall I be AFRAID?" Psalms 56:3: "What time I am AFRAID, I will TRUST in GOD."

Have NO FEAR when you KNOW God!!!

GOD KNOWS ALL
Words Have Meaning

Proverbs 24:10-12: "If thou forbear to deliver them drawn unto death: if thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not, doth He that ponders the heart not consider it? And He that keeps thy soul, does not He know it? Shall not He render to every man according to his work."

When a crime is committed, police want to know, who had the MEANS, the MOTIVE, the OPPORTUNITY? (This is for Sins of Commission.

There is also Sins of Omission, (not doing what God says to do). Omitting to do what we can to help people.

If WE KNOW that people are LOST and are going to Hell without Christ, and we have the MESSAGE, MEANS, OPPORTUNITY to share the Gospel with them, and we DO NOTHING to help them, "Does GOD not KNOW?"

It comes down to MOTIVE? Do we LOVE? We can say we're too scared to share with people, but is it really that we're NOT WILLING? Is our OMISSION that we DO NOT really CARE what happens to the LOST? Or, can we NOT be BOTHERED? Are we willing to just let people go???

Ezekiel 3:17-20 says that if we DON'T WARN the LOST, their BLOOD will be upon OUR HANDS!!!

Having the Means, Motive, Opportunity, we need to ENJOY sharing the Message of Salvation, for we CAN do ALL things through CHRIST!!! God KNOWS if we are SHARING His LOVE with the LOST around us!!!

HANGING OUT
Words Have Meaning

Kids today say, "We're just HANGING OUT, (spending time with friends).

The Pharisees in the days of Jesus accused Him of HANGING OUT with UNDESIRABLES, when He took time to eat with Sinners. His reply was, "I came to SEEK and to SAVE the LOST, and to call Sinners to Repentance," (Luke 19:10).

Jesus did not take part in, or condone sin, but HE LOVED SINNERS and SOUGHT to SAVE them. We don't need to HANG OUT at sinful places; but, with the Heart of the Loving Lord, through the Living Holy Spirit, we will lovingly PURSUE the LOST to POINT them to JESUS.

Galatians 3:13: "Christ REDEEMED us from the CURSE of the LAW, being made a curse for us: for it is written CURSED is every one that HANGETH on a TREE," (Deuteronomy 21:22-23).

JESUS was HUNG between two Thieves and He said, "Father, FORGIVE them." He was MADE a CURSE for them, right in the middle of them! One Thief said to Him, "NO THANKS!" The other said, "LORD, REMEMBER ME!"

It was also OUR CROSS where JESUS HUNG, LIFTED UP between Heaven and Earth. He took OUR PLACE, became OUR CURSE! Are you saying, "NO THANKS!" to Jesus??? YOU can say, "LORD REMEMBER ME!!!"

How MUCH we LOVE GOD is determined by how MUCH we LOVE SINNERS!!!

Romans 5:8: "For God commended, (demonstrated), His LOVE for us, in that, while we were yet sinners, CHRIST DIED FOR US."

Say, "YES" to Jesus!!! HANG OUT with HIM, now and forever in Heaven!!!

PROMISES
Words Have Meaning

Have you ever had a promise made to you that wasn't kept? We probably all have.

II Corinthians 1:20 tells us, "ALL the PROMISES of GOD are YEA and AMEN, unto the Glory of God."

God always KEEPS His PROMISES!!! Dr. Adrian Rogers said, "God's Promises are CHECKS you can take to the BANK!"

PROMISES of SALVATION: "Whosoever shall call upon the Name of the Lord SHALL be SAVED," (Romans 13:13).

PROMISES of PRAYER: Matthew 7:7: "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek and ye shall find; knock and it shall be opened unto you." John 14:14: "If ye shall ask anything in My Name, I will do it."

PROMISES of PRESENCE: Hebrews 13:5: "I will never leave thee nor forsake thee." Matthew 28:20: "I am with you always."

PROMISES of PROVISIONS: "My God shall supply ALL your NEEDS according to His great riches in Glory by Christ Jesus," (Philippians 4:29).

PROMISES of PROTECTION: Romans 8:31: "If God be for us, who can be against us?"

God has never broken any Promises spoken, (as the song says), He will KEEP His WORD, I know!!!

Have you claimed God's Promise of Salvation??? When you belong to Him, He takes care of everything else!!!
