Join us for Summer Dinner Church in the Park!

We invite you, your family, neighbors, and friends to join us for a special opportunity to gather for Dinner Church on Tuesdays in June! These gatherings will follow a similar model to our Lenten Dinner Church, as we gather each week around the theme of “Peace in the Park” — exploring how the Peace of Christ can transform our lives, community, and world. If you are interested in attending, please consider signing up to bring salad, sandwiches, or other items for our gatherings. We hope you will join us at 6:00 pm at Shelter #1 each Tuesday in June for this fun new opportunity to gather and ground ourselves in God’s promises during this beautiful time of year!

We invite all Reformation men to join us for a special Father's Day Breakfast on Sunday, June 21 from 9:00-9:45 am. Food and coffee will be provided! We hope you can join us for this time together.

If you would like to volunteer as a counter, please contact Cathy Wittig-Donald (540-335-8669).

Reformation is participating in the Luke's Backpack Summer Food Program. It will run from May 26 - August 8. We have picked each Thursday as our day to distribute the packages from 3:30 - 5:30pm at the church. Each box weighs 12lbs. We will need at least 2 people each Thursday. Signup sheet is in the back of the Church. If you have any questions, please let Evie Mongold know.

Reformation is "Feeding the Rebels"

It's that time for our annual contribution to our own New Market Rebels Baseball Team. I like to think we do this as a part of our community and also in loving memory of Bruce and Lynne Alger. (I can tell you those baseball guys most always comment "church dinners are the best dinners”) Our Reformation Church Family will provide two meals again this year, the first is on Wednesday, June 17 and the second on Wednesday, June 24. We serve dinner AFTER the game so the time ranges from 9pm - 11pm.... truly just depends on the time the game ends. We always need a few folks to help set up and clean up, but we also very much welcome you dropping off food to the field or to Karla during the day. If you would like to contribute and / or help with these two meals, please sign up on the sheets on the credenza in the overflow area. You can also call or text Karla Kokkonen at 540-325-1091. On behalf of the Rebels Baseball Organization, THANK YOU in advance for serving our community in this way.

Youth Group Painting Project

Starting next week on June 14th after Worship, Youth Group members and their siblings are invited to help out with the chalkboard wall project upstairs! Each week will have a specific task to accomplish, so bring a change of clothes and come out for one or all of the days! Thank you to everyone who contributed supplies to this project! See Kim Burke or email her ([email protected]) with questions.

There are still some spaces to be filled on the June Worship Servers Schedule! The July Schedule is now available for sign-up! Please contact Pastor Brad or Brent Eaton if you have an interest is serving but have questions!
