Sometimes life feels like a half-finished project: messy, unresolved, and nowhere near what we expected.

Psalm 138 reminds us that unfinished does not mean abandoned. God’s faithfulness in the past can give us courage for the parts of life still taking shape.

What if the story isn’t over? What if God isn't finished with you yet?

Psalm 23 is often read when life feels uncertain, but its comfort goes deeper than familiar words.

It shows us a God who provides when we’re worn down, restores what feels damaged, guides us when we’re unsure, and stays close when life gets dark.

The point isn’t that every day becomes peaceful or easy. It’s that we are not left to face any part of life alone.

Green pastures, hard valleys, full tables, uncertain roads - God is present in all of it. And His goodness is not temporary; it keeps pursuing us.

Where in your life could you use the reminder that you are being cared for?

Psalm 23 is familiar to many, but what happens when we stop looking for ourselves in it and start looking for God?

Six short verses reveal a Shepherd who provides, restores, guides, protects, and stays near - even in the valleys. This Sunday, we’ll look for those “God Moments” hiding in plain sight.

Sometimes we assume the most meaningful parts of life are behind us.

But age, change, and limitation do not erase purpose. We may not do what we once did, or do it in the same way, but there can still be people to encourage, wisdom to share, prayers to pray, love to give, and even new mountains to face.

Your life does not have to look impressive to still matter. What if some of your most meaningful faithfulness is still ahead?

What if some of our most meaningful work is still ahead of us?

This Sunday, we’ll look at a man who was 85 years old and still asking for mountains. His story raises a hopeful question for every season of life: what might God still have ahead?

Between Sundays
Where faith meets ordinary life.

Have you ever stayed somewhere on vacation that felt almost too perfect to leave? The view was beautiful. The house was comfortable. Everything felt peaceful. And then checkout morning came.

In verse 4 of Psalm 27, David says he wants “to dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of (his) life.”

That is the kind of place David longed for -- not just somewhere to visit, but somewhere to remain. And here’s the difference: God is not waiting for checkout time.

He welcomes us to stay close, to keep seeking him, and to make our home in his presence.

What would it look like to stay a little closer to God this week?

Some things take time to sink in. A word of encouragement. A hard truth. A lesson we were not ready to hear the first time.

Isaiah compares God’s Word to rain soaking into the earth. You may not see anything happen right away, but that does not mean nothing is happening.

Sometimes change begins quietly -- beneath the surface, before anyone else can see it. You do not have to have everything figured out to be here. You do not have to arrive with perfect faith or perfect answers.

Maybe the better question is simply this:
What truth might be taking root in you, even now?

Sometimes the words we need most don’t change us right away.

They settle in. They stay with us. And sometimes, long after we first hear them, they begin to make a difference.

This Sunday, we’ll look at a promise from Isaiah about God’s Word -- and why even when we can’t see anything happening, it may still be doing more than we realize.

What are you spending your time, energy, and hope on? And is it really satisfying you?

Isaiah 55 offers a surprising invitation: come thirsty, come hungry, come empty-handed. Jesus still meets people there, not with shame, but with grace.

This Sunday, we’ll consider what it means to stop chasing the things that leave us empty and receive the grace only Christ can give. We’ll also gather around the Lord’s Table for Holy Communion.

Between Sundays
Where faith meets ordinary life.

We're happy to be back after a couple week hiatus! Enjoy this week's edition of Between Sundays... --Pastor Charlie

Take a moment and notice what is around you -- the shape of a tree, the sound of rain, the steady rhythm of an ordinary day. Psalm 111:2 says, “Great are the works of the Lord”.

Creation can leave us amazed, but it points beyond itself to the One who made it. The beauty is great because God is greater still.

What might help you notice His greatness today?
