Friends of Highland Presbyterian Church,

Sunday’s Coming! This Sunday in our 10:00 am worship celebration we will look at Luke’s words from Acts 16. Sunday, Rev. Bill has us examining a short story in The Book of Acts chapter 16 (Acts 16:6-10). Take a few minutes longer and read all of chapter sixteen and discover every event which took place not long after that very first Pentecost Sunday. The title of Rev. Bill’s message is: “LET IT GO.” This Sunday, leading us in the Call to Worship will be James Dotson. Rev. Bill will give the Children’s Message before the children are dismissed for Children’s Church, which is led by our Children’s Minister, Bryan Lewis. During worship we have some special songs that will be presented by our praise team, which is directed by our dynamic Worship Leader, Maura Fornataro! These powerful songs will move our worship service forward as we celebrate the power of GOD at work in our lives and in our Church!

Beginning at 9:45, as we begin to gather for worship, our Praise Team will prepare us for this special morning worship with appropriate praise music.

Since we do not have Sunday School time until next fall our Fellowship time, held in the Gathering Area, now begins at 9:30 am. After Labor Day it will return to 9:00 am. Our Fellowship Time which is held just off of the sanctuary, is a fantastic opportunity to join other members of our Highland Church Family for a cup of coffee, a sweet treat and a time to connect and reconnect with one another.
