God is good and God is moving! 🙏❤️

This past weekend, we as the church got to witness and celebrate Brother Juan’s and Brother Juanito’s baptisms—a father and son who decided to get baptized together. Congratulations to our brothers for making the decision to give their lives to Christ!🥳🙌

Not only that, God touched the heart of a witness who was at Highland Lake, who also decided that he wanted to get baptized. Congratulations to Brother Aaron on his baptism!🥳🙌

“Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.””

¡Dios es bueno y Dios se está moviendo! 🙏❤️

Este pasado fin de semana, como iglesia tuvimos la oportunidad de presenciar y celebrar los bautismos del hermano Juan y el hermano Juanito—un padre y su hijo que decidieron bautizarse juntos. ¡Felicidades a nuestros hermanos por tomar la decisión de entregar sus vidas a Cristo!🥳🙌

Y no solo eso, Dios tocó el corazón de un invitado que estaba en Highland Lake, quien también decidió que quería bautizarse. ¡Felicidades al hermano Aaron por su bautismo!🥳🙌

Jesus’ command to love our enemies is not a sentimental idea—it reveals the difference between the way of the world and the way of the Kingdom.
The world teaches us to protect ourselves, get even, and hold onto what others owe us. But Jesus calls us to love, do good, bless, and pray—even when it costs us something.
This kind of love does not come naturally. It is not built on emotions or circumstances, but on a heart that has been transformed by Christ.
As citizens of God’s Kingdom, we are called to respond differently—not because hurt does not matter, but because our lives belong to a King who has shown us mercy first.

El mandato de Jesús de amar a nuestros enemigos no es una idea sentimental; revela la diferencia entre el camino del mundo y el camino del Reino.
El mundo nos enseña a protegernos, tomar venganza y aferrarnos a lo que otros nos deben. Pero Jesús nos llama a amar, hacer el bien, bendecir y orar, aun cuando nos cueste.
Este tipo de amor no nace naturalmente en nosotros. No está basado en nuestras emociones o circunstancias, sino en un corazón que ha sido transformado por Cristo.
Como ciudadanos del Reino de Dios, estamos llamados a responder de una manera diferente, no porque el dolor no importe, sino porque nuestras vidas pertenecen a un Rey que primero nos mostró misericordia.
