🥫 IT'S NATIONAL FOOD BANK DAY! 🍞

Thanks to generous donors like you, the Mission's food pantry stays stocked and ready to bless families right here in Lawrence County through our Family Care Ministry Grocery Assistance.

If you know anyone who is in need of grocery assistance, please let them know the Mission is here to help. All they need to do is call 724-652-4321 ext. 123 to schedule a time to pick up a bag of food from the Family Care Ministry.

That kind of generosity doesn't happen by accident. It happens because of YOU, our incredible co-laborers in this ministry, showing up again and again for our neighbors in need. 📦❤️

A bed at City Rescue Mission represents much more than a place to sleep.

It means someone is safe tonight.
It means a warm meal and a hot shower.
It means being welcomed by name.
It means having someone available to listen, pray and help determine the next step forward.

Last year, City Rescue Mission provided 22,564 nights of safe shelter to men, women and women with children in need. Each night represents a person with a story, a purpose and immeasurable value in the eyes of God.

Because of your support, our struggling neighbors do not have to face their most difficult moments alone.

Every ministry needs people willing to lead with faith and conviction.

As City Rescue Mission began taking shape in 1911, Mr. Edward Berquist was appointed as the Mission’s first superintendent, helping guide the newly formed ministry during its earliest days.

There were no decades of history to look back on, no established programs, and no guarantee of what the future would hold. There was simply a calling to share the Gospel and serve people in need. For 115 years, God has continued to provide faithful men and women to lead, serve, pray, give, and carry the work forward.

The leaders have changed through the years, but the One who leads this ministry has remained the same.
