Romans 1-11 Paul invests his time detailing effects and consequences of one’s sin. What is sin? Well, in contrast here to what was central to Jesus, the cross, his death and resurrection we find that our focus, from even our youth has been to willfully disobey, and stand in wrong relationship to the cross. Let us not forget this isn’t about breaking rules. It’s about volitionally, intentionally doing what we know we should not do in many times we don’t understand the depth or the results of our own actions. Reach NC |
