The rain showed up today… but so did greatness.

Not even the weather could stop our very own Retired Command Sgt. Maj. Ava L. Washington from shining as Grand Marshal of the Memorial Day Parade. Recipient of the Bronze Star for service in Afghanistan and the Meritorious Service Award for service in Kuwait, she represented New Brunswick, our Veterans, and Sharon Baptist Church with Grace, Strength, and Excellence!

The rain stopped the parade…but it definitely couldn’t stop Ava from shining. 🇺🇸✨
