⛰️Sermon On The Mount pt 14⛰️

Many of God's greatest works are happening underground before they ever become
visible above ground.

Jesus says….
Keep asking…..Keep seeking…..Keep knocking
We as the Church should not mistake God's silence for God's absence.

Jesus gives extraordinary assurance.
Not….
- some
- the super spiritual
- pastors only
- people who “have it all together…
But EVERYONE who asks!

Now this does not mean God grants every request exactly as we imagine...
Scripture teaches….
- God answers “yes”…sometimes “wait”….sometimes “no” …because He
sees what we cannot see.

But Jesus is teaching….God always responds to His children.
Sometimes the answer is…
- provision
- wisdom
- strength
- peace
- correction
- endurance
- or transformation

The greatest gift God often gives through prayer is not a changed circumstance but a changed heart.

Let’s also be reminded today what James says in James 4:2 ….“You do not have
because you do not ask God”
How many blessings remain unopened because we never ask?

Jesus is not teaching us how to get things from God….He is teaching us how to
depend on God.

🔥🕊️Pentecost Sunday🕊️🔥

Let's be reminded that our God fills hungry people...
God pours into surrendered vessels.
God visits united hearts.

🔥The upper room teaches us that heaven moves where humility gathers.
God did not send the Spirit while they were scattered.
He moved when they were together.
Prayer unified them before power filled them.

🔥Some of us are asking God for a breakthrough while resisting the process...
-But preparation is not punishment.
- Waiting is not wasting.
-Silence is not absence.
God does some of His deepest work in seasons that feel hidden.

🔥While you think nothing is happening, God is aligning desires...
He is purifying motives.
He is stretching your capacity.
He is teaching dependence.

🔥Because if God gave us the weight of tomorrow without preparing us today, it could crush us instead of blessing us.

⛰️Sermon On The Mount pt 13⛰️

What Jesus is confronting in Matthew 7 is not merely bad behavior...it is the human tendency to stand above others instead of beside them.

The gospel destroys that posture!

Because the ground at the foot of the cross is level.
None of us comes to Jesus as the righteous expert. We all come as people with planks. We all come needing mercy. And the miracle of grace is that Jesus does not expose our sin to crush us...He exposes it to heal us.

The people most equipped to help others are not the people who think they are better. They are the people who know how desperately they themselves needed grace.

So this week…
Before you speak about someone...
Before you criticize...
Before you assume motives...
Before you replay someone else's failure in your mind...
Stand before God first...
-Ask Him to search you
-Ask Him to humble you
-Ask Him to make you gentle

Because people rarely change through condemnation.
But they often change through truth spoken by someone who has clearly been with Jesus.

And maybe the greatest evidence that Christ is transforming us is this:
We become slower to condemn...quicker to repent....and gentler with people who are still struggling where we once struggled ourselves.
