Give & Gather

This one is for the Ladies!!

We all love a chance to get out with other amazing women, catch up on life, and enjoy some appetizers!

Let’s come together with purpose and do all those things while we make tie blankets for the kids who will be attending Royal Family Kids camp this summer! The kids who attend this camp are all affected by the foster care system, and we have an opportunity to bless them with cozy blankets, hand written letters of encouragement, and plenty of prayer!

We’re asking that you register, and bring an appetizer or drink to share! Please invite a friend and plan to be there! Your contribution matters!!

⛰️Sermon On The Mount, pt 15⛰️

Information without decision is just noise.
Jesus closes his sermon with a series of sharp contrasts that cut right to the heart of the
matter...
- Two gates
- Two roads
- Two destinations
- Two very different endings

And the thing that makes this so striking is what He DOESN'T say.
-He doesn't say:
•there are many roads to God.
•every path eventually leads to the same place. •sincerity is enough, or that good intentions count as a ticket.
•the journey matters more than the destination.

What He does say is:
•there are two roads.
•every person is on one of them.
•not both of them lead to somewhere good.

That's not a comfortable statement. In a world that celebrates open-mindedness and personal truth, it sounds narrow. And Jesus would say, Yes, that's exactly the point.

We need to understand what He's actually describing. Because the wide road looks nothing like what most people think destruction looks like. And the narrow road looks nothing like the joyless, restrictive life that many people assume following Jesus must be…

Not every road leads to the same destination.
Our culture says, "Choose your own path."….Jesus says, "Be careful which path you choose."
