Sunday, August 23rd

Our kiddos learned this week that God is the only one who SAVES.

☀️Lesson Highlights:
- WONDER TRUTH: Only God Saves
- SCRIPTURE: Numbers 21
- GOD’S BIG STORY: Even after God provides for His people in the wilderness, they complain and are struck by venomous snakes. To save the people, God instructs Moses to put a bronze snake on a pole; anyone who looks at the snake will live.
- WORD OF WONDER: God is faithful. That’s who He is. —from 2 Timothy 2:13

Our kiddos learned this week about how God is worthy of our worship!

☀️Lesson Highlights:
- WONDER TRUTH: We Can Worship God
- SCRIPTURE: Exodus 32
- GOD’S BIG STORY: While Moses listens to God on the mountain, the Israelites become restless and fashion a golden calf and worship it—yet God is faithful and shows only He is worthy of worship.
- WORD OF WONDER: God is faithful. That’s who He is. —from 2 Timothy 2:13

Sunday, August 9th

Our kiddos learned this week about the Tower of Babel and that GOD IS FAITHFUL!

☀️Lesson Highlights:
- WONDER TRUTH: God Is the Best
- SCRIPTURE: Genesis 11
- GOD’S BIG STORY: After the flood, the people think they can receive blessing and power by building a tower rather than seeking and following God’s plan. As a result, God scatters the people and confuses their languages.
- WORD OF WONDER: God is faithful. That’s who He is. —from 2 Timothy 2:13

Sunday, August 2nd

Our kiddos learned this week about the story of Cain & Abel.

☀️Lesson Highlights:
- WONDER TRUTH: God Redeems
- SCRIPTURE: Genesis 4
- GOD’S BIG STORY: When Adam and Eve’s sons Cain and Abel present offerings to God, He accepts Abel’s but not Cain’s. Angry, Cain refuses to make things right and kills his brother. Though there are consequences, God still redeems Cain’s situation by protecting his life.
- WORD OF WONDER: Even if we are not faithful, he remains faithful. He must be true to himself. —2 Timothy 2:13

Sunday, July 26th

Our kiddos learned this week that we can all PRAISE God with a JOYFUL HEART!

☀️Lesson Highlights:
- WONDER TRUTH: God Is Worthy of Praise
- SCRIPTURE: Psalm 63; 108
- GOD’S BIG STORY: Throughout the Psalms, David expresses that God is worthy of praise. He models that no matter our circumstances, we can praise God with a joyful heart!
- WORD OF WONDER: You created the deepest parts of my being. You put me together inside my mother’s body. How you made me is amazing and wonderful. I praise you for that. What you have done is wonderful. I know that very well. —Psalm 139:13–14

Our kiddos learned this week that God's love endures forever!

☀️Lesson Highlights:
- WONDER TRUTH: God’s Love Is Faithful
- SCRIPTURE: Psalm 103; 136
- GOD’S BIG STORY: Psalms 103 and 136 express deep gratitude to God for His faithful love—His compassion, grace, patience, and presence. These songs help God’s people remember who God is and that His faithful love goes on forever!

Our kiddos learned this week about how God's word is a lamp to our feet!

- WONDER TRUTH: God Gives Us the Bible to Know Who He Is
- SCRIPTURE: Psalm 119
- GOD’S BIG STORY: The writer of Psalm 119 tells how wonderful it is to follow God’s ways. His Word is like a light that guides us and shows us what God is like so we can know Him better!

Our kiddos learned this week about �being FEARFULLY & WONDERFULLY MADE

- WONDER TRUTH: God Made Me on Purpose, for a Purpose
- SCRIPTURE: Psalm 139
- GOD’S BIG STORY: King David writes a psalm describing the incredible ways God interacts with us—creating us, being with us, and knowing us. God does everything with purpose, including creating us!
- WORD OF WONDER: You created the deepest parts of my being. You put me together inside my mother’s body. How you made me is amazing and wonderful. I praise you for that. What you have done is wonderful. I know that very well. —Psalm 139:13–14

Our kiddos learned this week about �the meaning of JOY & CONTENTMENT.

☀️Lesson Highlights:

- WONDER TRUTH: God Gives Us Joy
- SCRIPTURE: Philippians 2–4
- GOD’S BIG STORY: While he is in prison, Paul encourages the church in Philippi to rejoice. He teaches that when we are thankful, God’s Spirit will give us joy and contentment no matter the circumstance.
- WORD OF WONDER: But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. —Galatians 5:22–23a (ISV)

Our kiddos learned this week about �the meaning of UNITY.

☀️Lesson Highlights:

- WONDER TRUTH: God Brings Us Together
- SCRIPTURE: Ephesians 4
- GOD’S BIG STORY: While in prison, Paul writes a letter to Jesus-followers in Ephesus, urging them to put aside their differences and live in unity with the help and power of the Holy Spirit.
- WORD OF WONDER: But the fruit the Holy Spirit produces is love, joy and peace. It is being patient, kind and good. It is being faithful and gentle and having control of oneself. —Galatians 5:22–23
