- GOD’S BIG STORY: Paul encourages Jesus-followers to stand firm against the devil’s evil plans by putting on spiritual armor and relying on the Holy Spirit for strength.
- WORD OF WONDER: But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you. Then you will tell people about me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria. And you will even tell other people about me from one end of the earth to the other. —Acts 1:8

Our kiddos learned this week about �the story of Peter and Cornelius.

☀️Lesson Highlights:
- WONDER TRUTH: The Holy Spirit Is for Everyone Who Believes!
- SCRIPTURE: Acts 10
- GOD’S BIG STORY: An angel instructs a Roman military official named Cornelius to meet Jesus’ disciple Peter. Meanwhile, God shows Peter through a vision that God’s Holy Spirit is for everyone—Jews and non-Jews—preparing Peter to meet Cornelius.
- WORD OF WONDER: But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you. Then you will tell people about me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria. And you will even tell other people about me from one end of the earth to the other. —Acts 1:8

Our kiddos learned this week about �the story of Peter and John going before the Sanhedrin.

☀️Lesson Highlights:
- WONDER TRUTH: The Holy Spirit Helps Us Be Bold!
- SCRIPTURE: Acts 3–4
- GOD’S BIG STORY: God works miraculously through Peter and John, healing a man who couldn’t walk. After hearing about the miracle, the Jewish authorities question Peter and John, who respond with boldness!
- WORD OF WONDER: But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you. Then you will tell people about me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria. And you will even tell other people about me from one end of the earth to the other. —Acts 1:8

Our kiddos learned this week about �the rile of the Holy Spirit.

☀️Lesson Highlights:
- WONDER TRUTH: The Holy Spirit Helps and Guides Us!
- SCRIPTURE: Luke 11; John 14; Galatians 5
- GOD’S BIG STORY: Jesus sends the Holy Spirit to fill His disciples, helping them follow Him and share the good news! Jesus-followers today are filled with the same internal guide and helper—God’s promised Holy Spirit.
- WORD OF WONDER: But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you. Then you will tell people about me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria. And you will even tell other people about me from one end of the earth to the other. —Acts 1:8

For revival, Community Kids read Matthew 13 and learned 6 practices for growing their faith in Christ: prayer, Bible reading, worship, obey and love God, help others and love others.
Sunday they wrapped up their series and will go back to the regular theme on the Holy Spirit next week.

Our kiddos learned this week about �Jesus and how he gave the great commission and then ascended into heaven.

☀️Lesson Highlights:

- WONDER TRUTH: Jesus Promises to Send the Holy Spirit
- SCRIPTURE: Matthew 28; Acts 1
- GOD’S BIG STORY: Jesus—resurrected and alive—appears to the disciples on a mountain in Galilee. He commissions His followers to share the good news and promises to send the Holy Spirit as a helper, then ascends into the sky to heaven.

This week we learned that God loves us so much that He sent His Son to die, so we can be
forgiven. Because of Jesus, our relationship with God is healed, and we
are made new!

Our kiddos learned this week about �creation and how we are all made in God's image!

☀️Lesson Highlights:
- WONDER TRUTH: God Made Us in His Image
- SCRIPTURE: Genesis 1–2
- BIG STORY: God creates the world and everything in it. His most precious creation is people, who He created in His image to look after the earth and to be in relationship with Him.
- WORD OF WONDER: When anyone lives in Christ, the new creation has come. The old is gone! The new is here! —2 Corinthians 5:17

Sunday, February 8th

Our kiddos learned this week about the story of Nicodemus visiting Jesus

☀️Lesson Highlights:
- WONDER TRUTH: God Sent Jesus Because He Loves Us!
- SCRIPTURE: John 3
- GOD’S BIG STORY: A pharisee named Nicodemus is curious about Jesus, so he visits Him seeking answers. Jesus tells Nicodemus that he can have eternal life through Him!
- WORD OF WONDER: God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son. Anyone who believes in him will not die but will have eternal life. God did not send his Son into the world to judge the world. He sent his Son to save the world through him. —John 3:16–17
