Stop Trying to Fix Everything

You can love people without rescuing them. You can care without controlling. You can pray without taking responsibility for outcomes that belong to God.

Scripture:

“Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.” — Psalm 37:5

Pause:

Who or what am I trying to fix that I need to entrust to God?

Prayer:

Father, help me release my need to control outcomes. Teach me to love faithfully while trusting You completely. Amen.

Today’s Pace of Peace:

Pray about one situation without trying to manipulate the outcome.

God’s Timing Is Not Your Emergency

Waiting can make us feel like something is wrong. But delay does not automatically mean denial. Sometimes God is doing work that cannot be rushed.

Scripture:

“Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart.” — Psalm 27:14

Pause:

What am I trying to force because I am uncomfortable waiting?

Prayer:

Father, help me trust Your timing. Give me patience when I want immediate answers and peace when I cannot see what You are doing. Amen.

Today’s Pace of Peace:
Replace one “I need this now” thought with “I can trust God’s timing.”

What is the next right step God has already made clear?

Father, I don’t need to know everything. Give me courage to trust You with what I cannot see and faithfulness to take the next step. Amen.
