The table is set. We are looking forward to having you join us tomorrow morning for Communion Sunday at Calvary! Come at 8:30 or 11:00 AM as Pastor Caleb walks us through a special sermon on Isaiah 55:1-3. We encourage you to spend some time in the text, and prepare your heart to receive communion.

After services, we would love for you to join us for a special Open House in the Fellowship Center, as we celebrate Larry Birch and Norman and Karen Fox. There's more info in the bulletin here: https://cbcneenah.org/page/800?Item=1478.

Welcome to June! With the start of summer, comes a small change to our cafe hours. This helps our faithful volunteers have a much needed break to enjoy time with family and friends. See the new hours below, and please note that we will not be open Thursdays through August. Stop by Tuesday and Wednesday for coffee with a friend, or bring your kiddos for a playdate in our playroom! We'd love to see you. ☕

Pastor Michael walked us through Mark 4:1-20 today, with the Parable of the Sower, showing us what matters most is how our hearts respond to Jesus. This week, spend time in prayer as you ponder the question - if you had a conversation with God, what would he tell you about your heart?

If you missed the service, you can watch it at cbcneenah.org. It was a beautiful day to worship together at Calvary! We met lots of new Calvary attendees at our Meet & Greet during the middle hour. So grateful for what God is doing in our church walls, and throughout our community.

Just a note heading into June...the Calvary Cafe will not be open Thursdays for the summer. The new hours will be Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:00 AM-1:00 PM, and Sunday mornings from 8:00 AM-12:00 PM. ☕ We pray you have a blessed first week of June.

Our series in Mark has revealed much about how we should respond to Jesus. It is a response of complete surrender, recognizing our need for salvation, and seeing Jesus as the only one who can save. This week, in the Parable of the Sower, we will see what matters most is how our hearts respond to Jesus.

Join us this Sunday as we consider four types of heart conditions that we might identify with. We will see that Jesus is looking for a heart that receives the Word of God and bears fruit for His kingdom. We will understand exactly what Jesus means when he says, “He who has an ear, let him hear.”

"Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends." (John 15:13 ESV) 🇺🇸 As you go to parades and picnics today, remember the price that was paid for your freedom. Freedom to congregate and to celebrate, comes at a cost. We praise God for the gift of freedom, but we also mourn with those who have lost family members in the armed services. We pray you feel the comfort and peace of Christ today, and always.

Family Service Sundays at Calvary. ♥️ We love when the kids join in for worship. We also had a beautiful sendoff for the Depue's, with 150+ of our Calvary family in attendance. Please be in prayer for them as they head back to Brazil soon. We are thankful for what God is doing through their family.

We pray you have a safe Memorial Day. We know this weekend can be hard for a lot of people. We are grateful for those who fought for our country and lost their lives defending our freedom...and we pray for all their families this weekend as they honor and remember them. 🇺🇸

Since it is a holiday weekend, it is a Family Service Sunday tomorrow, May 24, at Calvary! Children's classes will only be available for infants and toddlers at 8:30 and 11:00 AM. There will be no 9:45 AM ECC classes, and instead we encourage you to attend the celebration with the Depue family! Our wonderful volunteers have put together fun worship bags for all the kids. Please take one at either entrance when you arrive. We are looking forward to having your families join us tomorrow morning!

This past Sunday at Calvary was a busy one! We had the Congregational Meeting and Church Lunch, the SWAT Craft and Bake Sale, and Women's Conference registration. Over 520 of you from our church family joined us for the Congregational Meeting...what a blessing! God is working at Calvary in big ways, and we are excited to see what He does next.

Pastor Eric preached a wonderful message from Mark 2. If you missed the service, you can watch it at https://cbcneenah.org/watch/1465.

As a reminder - with Memorial Day on Monday, it is a Family Service on Sunday, May 24. Infants and toddlers will only have class at 8:30 AM and 11:00 AM. There will be no ECC classes at 9:45 AM.

Finally, watch for an email later today with updates from the meeting if you weren't able to join us.

What begins as a familiar day in the teaching ministry of Jesus becomes an unforgettable display of Jesus’ power and authority and makes a claim about his identity that cannot be ignored. This Sunday, Pastor Eric will walk us through Mark 2:1-12.

We see three different responses of people to the claim of Christ and are called to grapple with that claim ourselves. Are the things we are most concerned about actually our greatest need? Join us on Sunday at 8:30 or 11:00 am as we dive into God's word together.
