First Family Appreciation Post! šŸŽ‰

We are blessed to have such a wonderful family leading our church!

As we celebrate Pastor Scott on tomorrow, we also want to honor our amazing First Lady and the Scott children—Savannah, Lily, and Shane. Their love, support, and countless sacrifices help make ministry possible, and we are grateful for the ways they serve alongside Pastor Scott.

To the Scott family: please know that we love you, appreciate you, and thank God for each of you. Your impact on our church family does not go unnoticed.

FBCCH Remembers šŸ‡ŗšŸ‡ø

This Memorial Day weekend, we pause to honor the fallen and remember the brave men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation.

As we gather with family and friends may we do so with gratitude. We remember them with honor, reflect with humility, and give thanks with reverence.

ā€œGreater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.ā€ — John 15:13

This past Wednesday, we were fortunate to host a Town Hall on the Hill for the People’s Hearing on the recent redistricting of congressional districts impacting our communities. It was our privilege to welcome Former State Representative from Georgia Stacey Abrams, whose leadership and voice continue to cultivate change across the nation.

Our church remains committed to creating spaces for advocacy, truth-telling, and meaningful dialogue as we continue the work of addressing unjust systems and uplifting our communities. We are grateful to all who gathered with us for this important conversation on the Hill.

Mother’s Day on the Hill! What a beautiful day to be in worship and an even greater day to celebrate mothers and mother figures. šŸ’

Our youth and men led us in worship with excellence, helping make the atmosphere one filled with love, gratitude, and joy.

We are blessed to be a church where God and community meet, and where generations come together to honor those who have poured so much into our lives. Thank you to everyone who joined us as we celebrated the incredible women among us.

Take a look back at Mother’s Day on the Hill! ✨
