We are saddened to share the passing of our beloved church member, Dorothy “Dot” Barnes Bernard, who entered eternal rest on April 7, 2026, at the age of 91.

Dot lived a long and beautiful life marked by love, family, and faith. She is survived by her daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family who will continue to carry her legacy forward.

As a church family, we give thanks for the life she lived and the witness she shared among us. We hold her loved ones in our prayers during this time of grief, trusting in the promise of resurrection and the peace of Christ that surpasses all understanding.

“Let not your hearts be troubled… I go to prepare a place for you.” — John 14:1-2

Mattie Sue’s life was a true blessing to so many. We will gather in gratitude, remembrance, and hope as we honor her life and the many ways she touched our hearts.
