O Lord, our sun borrows its light from you, and through its warmth we feel your affection.
Your inextinguishable love is at reality’s core, it lights upon our skin with a tender touch.
And this morning we witness the living sign of your heart’s unfailing search for us.

O Lord, this sunshine of ours is a clear promise, a radiant herald, You have come near to us today, Through trees topped with glowing orange. The air itself is a chalice brimming with joy, as you garment your world in goodness, dressing Creation with daylight.

We feel it urging us to keep trusting that, in Christ, you have smiled upon us. You have surprised us with your smile, and our faces cannot help but smile in return.

Because In this moment we feel you delighting in us.

RESURRECTION LIGHT. Easter is viewed as God’s light breaking into the world through Jesus to push back darkness, despair, and death. Before creeds and denominations, CANDLELIGHT and its quiet, non-coercive power lit the way as a living, current reality, offering light and guidance and a sense of God’s loving presence with us.

We are so excited to share that Kendal Beard has joined our ministry team as Associate Pastor. Kendal brings extensive pastoral and church ministry experience to our community serving in pastoral care, teaching, as well as organizational leadership and support. Kendal also runs a decluttering and organizational business in addition to being a wife and mom. Please welcome her, and the whole Beard family (Lee, Cole, & Lyra), we are so fortunate to have them in our spiritual family at VUE Church!
