Thank you, everyone for praying for our family. I was released two weekends ago from the Lake City FL, VA Hospital having been treated for fluid retention and heart irregularities. Last week, my cardiology team sent me on a nearly 300 mile trip to Gainesville, VA Malcolm Randall Hospital and then home Nashville, GA. Last Sunday, after morning church, I continued to suffer chest pains prompting me to call the VA telephone advice nurse. She prompted me to get to an ER. At midnight, I decided I needed to make the 90 mile trip to Lake City VA Hospital. It was at that time I walked out to see this beautiful midnight sky and was able to take this picture. As I was kept by the hospital, I tested positive for COVID. After two nights, I was sent home to recuperate. On my way home, my back tire blew after exiting on the interstate about 12 miles from home. In the 100 degrees+ temperature, I was too weak to change the tire. While praying, I called a friend who came and brought me home with my vehicle, replaced two tires, making me very thankful for the care of the Lord and for my faithful friends.
My ears are open to God for direction. I am confident in his leadership. To my pastor, Buck Crumley, (AMFM Church) I encourage, don't ever quit preaching. To my pastor brethren, don't ever quit preaching, even if things seem to be overwhelming. God is taking us to high places.
