🐝🌸🐝🌸 🐝Our HoneyBee class was treated to a tour of J&J Farms!
James and Judy Jones demonstrated all aspects of their honey operation for the girls….how the colony is organized, capping of the cells, how bees identify fellow hive mates, and the bottling process.
Sherry Baxley brought our devotional using bees as an example of how we should care for each other, as the bees take care of each other.
Afterwards, we had delicious grilled hot dogs with all the fixings.
Finally, Mr James gave each girl a bottle of honey and a HoneyBee charm!
Thank you to Phillip Turner for driving our van….we couldn’t do all the things we do without adults who are willing to share their time and talents! 🐝🌸🐝🌸🐝
