Being together is the best place to be! We immersed ourselves in Psalm 23 as we did an interactive walk-through of the entire psalm with prayer, talking about what God gives us, worry stones, and deciding how we would bless others if we were a king or queen. Then we made a snack together that helped us dig deeper into the Psalm sharing what we thought each verse meant. We ended our time by guiding our balloon sheep, that were scattered everywhere, into their “pen” just like God guides us. We love growing closer to God and to each other!

As we learned about Jesus feeding the 5000, we learned about how if all of us give a little, there will be enough. We did this through activities that helped us share, problem solve, work together, take chances, and communicate. We had a shared snack, built a cracker tower, and made beaded fish. Whenever there wasn’t enough of something, we had to figure it out and compromise.
