Silent Saturday .. the day where nothing seems to be happening, and yet everything has changed.

The grief of yesterday still lingers. The joy of tomorrow hasn’t arrived. And so we sit in the middle—in the stillness, in the uncertainty, in the waiting. It’s a reminder that some of the most important work in life happens during the hardest of times.
Silent Saturday whispers that hope doesn’t always shout. Sometimes it breathes softly, barely noticeable, asking only that you stay… and trust that resurrection is already on its way.
They didn’t know what tomorrow would bring! However, we do! We know that Sunday is coming!! HALLELUJAH!!!!!

Your identity isn’t defined by your marriage or your parenting. Before you are a spouse or a parent, you are a child of God.

So when you feel like a failure, overwhelmed by the demands of marriage and parenting, first look to God and recall what the Bible says about your identity: "For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." — Ephesians 2:10

We need Christ to help us get through each day, to be led by Him in each moment. We truly can't do it on our own. Both marriage and parenting are reflections of our relationship to Christ - so He has to be the core of both of those aspects of our lives.

Hosanna in the highest… 🌿

“‘Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’”
(Matthew 21:9)

In just a few days, the same voices that cried “Hosanna” would shout, “Crucify Him!” (Luke 23:21)

Jesus entered Jerusalem fully aware of what awaited Him. Yet He did not turn back. In perfect obedience to the Father and in unfathomable love for us, He set His face toward the cross to fulfill His purpose: to lay down His life so we could truly live.

God entrusted your children to you with purpose. From the beginning of creation, He knew their heart, and He knew yours. He knew the struggles you would carry while raising them, and He knew the paths your child would take. He will equip you for every season if you turn to Him and lean into His perfect peace.
