Today, I found flowers in a Bible. Some weeks ago I purchased a Bible from the late 1800’s. The Bible itself was published in 1868. In its front flyleaf is written, “Elle Paul–Reward for learning the Shorter Catechism, from her teacher– Hattie Hoenig– Chester. Dec. 8, 1868.” A small token of someone's life, a thing meaningful to them.
