Happy Trinity Sunday & Peace with Justice Sunday! ✝️🕊️
Today, we celebrate the mystery of the Trinity—not as a problem to solve, but as an invitation to experience God's love. The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit exist in a divine relationship of grace, love, and communion—a holy dance that invites all of us to join in.
The beauty of Trinity Sunday is that it reminds us that faith is not just about understanding God; it's about living in relationship with God and with one another. When we step into that divine dance, we begin to see every person as a beloved child of God.
Scripture tells us that humanity was created in the Imago Dei—the image of God. Every person bears that sacred image. Every person has value. Every person is worthy of dignity, love, and justice.
That's why Peace with Justice Sunday fits so naturally with Trinity Sunday. Our faith calls us not only to worship God, but to love our neighbors, break down barriers, and work for a world where all people are seen, valued, and treated with compassion.
And for those who wrestle with questions or doubts, take heart. Even some of Jesus' closest followers doubted. Faith is not the absence of questions; it's continuing to step onto the dance floor and trust God's love to guide us.
May we go into the world as ambassadors of grace, love, and peace—sharing the good news that every person is created in God's image and is deeply loved. - Rev Roy Terry IV
