This week's Sunday School videos taught us to not give up on God when bad things happen. Bad things happen to everyone. At a meal this week, ask everyone about something bad or disappointing that has happened to them and how they handled the situation. Remind them that God is with them (and all of us) even during difficult times.

Yesterday, our Sunday School kids learned about how Saul, a persecuter of those that followed Jesus, became Paul, a believer and prolific writer and defender of the faith. That happened because God helped Paul see things in a new way. We also may not always see things clearly, but God can help us see things in a new way, too.
