One Year of Gathering at Ten Oaks Middle School!
This Sunday marks one year since we first gathered for worship at Ten Oaks Middle School.
A lot has happened around those cafeteria tables over the last year.
We’ve worshiped, prayed, welcomed new people, watched kids grow, asked hard questions, and continued discovering what kind of church God is cultivating in Carolina Forest.
That makes this Sunday’s question especially fitting:
What kind of “we” will we be?
In Part 3 of Do Unto Others, we’ll explore what happens when political disagreement turns “we” into “they,” and what we can learn from the way Paul engaged people who saw the world very differently than he did.
Common ground doesn’t require agreement.
But to disagree doesn’t erase the “we.”
We’ll have Sermon Bingo, Wiggle Church for our youngest worshipers through age 7, and conversation after the sermon.
Most importantly, Sunday is Day One.
Come find room to pause, reflect, breathe, and begin your week grounded in something deeper.

Continue the Conversation
Last Sunday we talked about how our experiences shape the way we see the world and how the Law of Christ shapes what we do.
We committed ourselves to three practices:
1. Seek understanding
2. Practice curiosity
3. Recognize dignity.
