🌿 Feeling rushed, stressed, or worn out? This Sunday at Salem Community Church, discover how God invites us to slow down and rest in His presence. Just as David sometimes had to guide his sheep to stay in the green pastures and beside the still waters, our Great Shepherd lovingly leads us to places of peace.

Join us as we explore the beautiful name Jehovah Shalom — "The LORD is Peace" — and learn how God's peace can calm our hearts even in life's busiest seasons.

Come worship with us this Sunday and experience the tranquility that passes all understanding.

We'd love to welcome you!

📖 New Sermon Series: The Shepherd's Psalm

This Sunday we began our journey through Psalm 23 with the powerful truth found in verse 1: "The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want."

Pastor Neil reminded us that when God is our Shepherd, we have a personal relationship with Him. Jesus said, "My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me." Because we belong to Him, we can trust that He will provide everything we truly need.

The result of having the Lord as our Shepherd is confidence, contentment, and peace. As Philippians 4:19 assures us, God will meet all our needs according to His riches in Christ Jesus.

No matter what you're facing today, remember: with God as our Shepherd, life could not be better. 🐑❤️

Believe and Be Baptized💧
A special day at Salem as Shannaa, Josh, and Colby publicly declared their faith in Jesus through baptism. What a joy to celebrate with Pastor Neil and our church family as we cheered them on! ✨🙌

Each step into the water was a beautiful testimony of God’s work in their lives. Join us in praising God for these lives and praying for them as they continue to follow Christ! ❤️

🐑 New Sermon Series Begins June 7! 🐑

One of the most beloved passages in the Bible is Psalm 23. Many of us have memorized its words and found comfort in them during life's most difficult moments.

Written by David—a shepherd long before he became king—this psalm reflects the care, protection, and guidance he witnessed firsthand while tending his sheep. David used the Hebrew names of Jehovah to describe the many ways God watched over and blessed him, helping us better understand how our Great Shepherd cares for us today.

📖 Join us beginning June 7 for our new sermon series:

🐑 The Shepherd's Psalm 🐑

Together we'll discover the deeper meaning behind Psalm 23 and learn more about the loving care of our Great Shepherd.

📅 Starts June 7
📍 We'd love to have you join us at Salem Community Church, Wolfsville!

God uses ordinary people to do extra-ordinary things when we seek the Lord, see the need, show others who we are, share the power, and speak the truth in love.

- Talk to Jesus about people before you talk to people about Jesus
- People look different after you've talked to Jesus
- You look different after you've been with Jesus
- Lives are changed after you have shared Jesus
- Ordinary becomes extra-ordinary in Jesus' Name
